Could we also throw in Drinkwater and Simpson not sure if they played enough to get a prem medal. Probably more a failure on their part though for not being good enough to get picked.

I don't think youth team players who appeared a handful of times before leaving for first team action can be considered "constant failures" tbh.

Also, if a player was brilliant for a club, such as Andy Cole, Teddy Sheringham, Rio Ferdinand, but the team wasn't good enough to win the title, the player can't be considered a "failure", especially if they then secured a move to a better team.
