A draw with a strong city line up.. fair play to them!

Doing a great job with a bunch of loanees and relative unknowns.

I think they were amongst the favourites for relegation at the start of the season.

Looking more likely to get promoted on top of the cup run.

7 changes today. Second string played, players from Bradford, Oldham, Southend, Wolves Charlton and our academy. All ours

The loanees you mention were ont bench, and our main couldn't play, as he's on loan from city. We'll see how this season goes before Wagbo ponders leaving us.

Ian Holloway had us down for relegation, what does that wurzel Gummidge chicken chaser know about football........... Fook all

For aslong as he has to come back to Achterberg i don't think it matters mate, only for the price we get if someones interested.

Dodgy on the whole. Last three games he's done well, great saves at Qpr.

He can't command a box and stays on his line too much. He likes a pint too

So hes a good shot stopper but not much else? whats his kicking like?

Distribution is great, he goes to the pear tree, the nags head and the Dusty Miller.

So that's 3 dodgy keepers we have on our books

i prefer to look at it as 3 decent keepers and a dodgy gk coach

Achterberg used to live in Moreton, not far from me. Wonder if he still does?

Ward is OK, but never a prem keeper at the moment. Has potential but Coleman has more. Ward is further along in his development though as you'd expect given their ages. Both could have a future in the premier league IMO eventually.

I would definitely be happy with us signing Ward whether we go up or not next year, but if we're up to the premier it'd be as second choice with an experienced prem keeper coming in and Coleman going on loan to the championship to be first choice somewhere. If we are still in the championship then I'd still take Ward but I'm not sure he'd keep his no.1 spot.

I don't see the point in helping Ward develop and then have him return to Liverpool. That doesn't mean I want him to sign permanently either. Bring in Coleman as the No1 keeper and have Ward in reserve.

As suggested before, Ward has had a couple of decent matches recently, but has proven to be a bit dodgy overall.

He'll never be good enough. The longer we associate with average players the longer we'll be average.

Clop

You've never seen average mate. Go a season in lwague 1 with Theo Robinson and Alan "Alan" Lee as your front 2 before you talk about average.

Ward has ability and could make a premier league goalie out of himself, but IMO that's not next year. He might benefit a lot from being understudy to a real top bracket talent goalkeeper for a couple of seasons, and that's what you lot should look to buy first this summer IMHO.

Ward is ward. He's played euros, got exposure her and is on a long contract with us so we are quids in but he's never going to be a top keeper.

We've been saying we need a top keeper since Reina left us. The reality is there a top keeper whom we can get these days? I'm afraid no. The top keepers are at the big clubs. In my opinion Ward is a decent keeper who is not better than Mignolet and Karius at shot stopping but makes less blunders and he's better with commanding his area and catching the high balls and he can handle the physical challenges. I hope we bring him back and then search for a better player. Karius and Mignolet are not good enough for Liverpool.

Huddersfield fans have already said he is poor at commanding box

Ward is okay, but I'm glad he's not our player. I have far more confidence in Coleman and I'm looking forward to seeing him as our established number 1.
