As with AKCJ, I would very much like it to be Yak, Maynard and not M King. However, I think Yak and Kamara are more likely.

Apparently Stringer is saying the LCFCside of things is sorted, but not yet complete. Expected next maybe week.
What a let down.
It'll be either Heskey or Kamara and the smart money's probably on the latter even though he wasn't really used as a striker by Sven last season. I know that Lee's underwhelmed but I think that these two would be very good signings for a Championship club - they've got bags of experience and have been there and done it at the highest level.

Yes, although it has to be said the rumours have cooled down a lot.
We were linked with him when the transfer window opened. Not much since so i'm not holding my breath.

Odds on that Kamara is the second striker.
Another source, the reliable twitter source...says that there's a third signing, but there's no current info on what position that may be.
Sounds like all the worry about NO signings will be put to rest and we can all get down to the important issues...like arguing over the ones that do get signed.

This partnership almost happened at Portsmouth so many years ago under Rednapp. It's obviously a striking formula that could easily prosper in the CCC.
I'm not one who wants to bring Heskey back in all honesty. I'll accept it if it ever happens, but I don't think it will work. And definitely not if we sign these two.
Reading the Mercury column on line it seems that the Yak is far from certain. He seems to be holding out for big money and the deal may be going cold.
