Mark Warburton 14/1 to become new Leicester manager
See this ‘lost the dressing room’ crap?
Usually started by some smug rsole over confident under
performer.
Any footballer who deliberately gives less than 100 should be dragged
behind a chariot through the streets of the folk who pay his bloated
wage.

After what he pulled off last season he should have that job as long as he wants it. Pathetic.

"is pretty shameful timing though and they should have a least waited until the end of the season"
After they were relegated?
That's the angle the owners are looking at it. Obviously it's a gamble changing manager at this stage of the season, but they've given themselves enough time. Had they waited another month or two they'd be totally screwed.
There's a saying in boxing, you're only as good as your last fight.. And Leicester have been shocking this season.. Lurching from one timid performance to another. I know that isn't just Ranieri's fault but he's got to take a lot of responsibility for it.
It was only yesterday that he effectively said his player weren't very good after the Sevilla defeat. You can't be saying stuff like that.
Ach well.
He’ll never be poor.
Folk will feel a bit sorry for him.
He’s out of the mess and free to make a fresh start.
05.45 here.
00.30 local time and I see that lazy so and so Laudrup’s away to bed.
Wonder how the fans feel. Disgraceful way to treat a liecester legend
The players should be ashamed of themselves. Absolute disgrace.
The EPL is a business and as a manager Ranieri spectacularly failed them this season.
He had to go and if anything the owners could be accused of hanging onto sentiment and not acting swiftly enough.
I would suggest that the manager was only partially to blame, and the players who have downed tools then stabbed the manager in the back should be the ones to carry the can.
But then that's not how football works.
As I keep saying though, there is no loyalty in football and anyone who thinks there is loyalty is simply deluded.
The Leicester movie now has its closing scene. Ranieri walking sadly away from the King Power as the sun goes down.
A sad scene for sure but not as dark as the opening scene where the camera pans down the dimly lit corridor of a back street Bangkok hotel.....

Also regards the players downing tools.
I don't think they have. They're simply just playing to their ability/level again. Last season everyone of them outperformed what they were expected to. And they had Kante who was worth a good 20+ points to them.
They are where they are because that's the quality they're at.
Disagree Juke.
Look at their performance in Seville compared to their meek performances in the league.
Then they're going behind the managers back to the chairman asking for him to be sacked and questioning his decision to play certain players (new signings).
Unprofessional, ungrateful bassas, the lot of them.
Their performance against Sevilla?
They were fortunate not to be 5-0 down in the first half. Schmeichel's hands must have been killing him.
Until they scored they did absolutely nothing in that game, and even then they didn't ever look like equalising.
It's easy enough to raise your game for a two leg cup tie, so again they were playing above themselves and were still lucky not to be on the end of a hiding.
You'll not convince me that the players have been anything other than a disgrace I'm afraid.
It's far too easy and convenient to blame the manager for egotistical players not giving their all for a club that has, for many of them, made them.
I'll be honest.. I've not heard anything about players going behind his back asking for him to be sacked.
But they are where they are because their players aren't good enough to maintain another title challenge.
Some came from lower leagues, others couldn't make it at bigger/better clubs etc.
They're a lower half table team.

How can you look at their Champions League performances all year, compare them to their league performances, then say it's the manager's fault?
The players literally chose the games they wanted to show up for.
Will be a good laugh when they get relegated
