Did the Owners just stand by and let us get relegated then?

Is one man bigger than the Club?

You think Ranieri is faultless in all this Jon? It's a business and you should understand that better than anyone. It's awful what's happened and the owners should in no way have offered their unwavering support without understanding what was happening behind the scenes. In that sense they have embarrassed themselves

But there's no room for sentiment in business. He was taking us down and I fear they have left things too late in any sense. It's tragic that after guiding the team to the impossible, Ranieris old demons came back out

He's got previous for falling out with staff and players alike, as has new favourite Mancini who will be just as bad this season. Ranieri was hurtling us towards relegation with no control over the players, no real man management ability when that's exactly what's needed now

The owners are not awful people but they are utterly clueless that's for sure. The likely appointment of Mancini is another Paulo Sousa episode and will confirm our relegation and our disappearance jntonthe championship abyss

I heard Mark Schwarzer on 5live Saturday morning talk about disharmony behind the scenes at the club. Why was Schwarzer let go, why were the sports science guys let go. Then 2 Italian coaches drafted in.

Surely you don't mess with a winning formula. He lost the respect of the players and that was the key to last seasons success. Mr Ranieri and all that

So you are shocked JG at the dreaded public vote of confidence being followed up by sacking the manager? In the end he was failing with his basic objective - to make us a club capable of challenging for Europe consistently. However brilliant his historic achievements have been.

Personnaly, I just wanted Leicester to stay up. I don't think that was going to happen as things stood. We may still go down, other club fans will rejoice and marvel in our decline and will appear on here in the droves squealing with delight whilst constantly ignoring how poorly run their clubs are.

The EPL is a cesspit, but it's a rich cesspit where morals don't count and everyone is desperate to be part of, the hate will die down and soon it'll be another clubs turn, probably when Arsenal sack Wenger.

Can the manager relly take the blame for all Morgans mistakes on the pitch and would he of not made them if he got the same pay rise as Vardy ?

Why sack CR to keep Rudkin,Stowell Shakespeare and co employed.
We should not appoint a new manager before the end of the season and let those who got us into this mess get us out and then be as ruthless to them as club has been to CR.

Yes he can, as he continues to play him, even though he is woefully out of form.

Ultimately, I can't bring myself to turn on all those who made the league win possible. Ranieri is a key part of that, but so are the players who won the big league title that Ranieri never had through his career until last season. So are the owners, who wrote off around millions upon millions of pounds worth of debt to make the club healthy and allow this all to happen. So are Pearson and his backroom staff who left the squad in the strong state that laid the foundations for Ranieri to build upon.

My feeling is that it's sad that we lose a part of our family now and, while it's frustrating to see some players acting unprofessionally, I accept that these guys were never meant to be politicians. The fact is that, although this one glorious part of our wonderful season has now gone, many others remain.

You have no idea why the backroom staff were falling out with Ranieri Nev. No idea at all

It should be noted that recent appointees at troubled clubs Marco Silva and Paul Clement both rightly insisted in solely using their own support staff. Which is correct
I hope our new man is equally strong on this issue

There should only be one message at the training ground and it is a reflection of Ranieri's anxiety to secure the post that he allowed staff with long commitment to previous manager to remain in place.

In my opinion a mistake both by him for accepting and directors for promoting it .

It is unfair on both parties as differences in approach and tactics can cut across established practice.

"Et tu Brute ? taken from a renowned Shakespeare plot as the Roman had the knife plunged into his back"

'Et tu Brute?' Is Latin and means 'You too Brutus?',it was Julius Caesar that uttered these last, immortal words in The Bard of Avon's play not Brutus himself!
Although it's highly unlikely these were his last words in real life,as there is no documentation to back up Shakespeare on this but of course he was assassinated by his own senators.

I just get wound up by some of the really inflammatory remarks you present as fact on here to support your agenda. I told you to shut up last night (I did say please) and I don't see that as abusing you and I don't think it warrants you offering me out.

I could meet up with you and I've no issue telling you to your face that I think you post made up facts on here. It what's that going to achieve? You're not going to agree with me and I'm not going to agree with you. It will probably be more of a polite exchange than it is on here and if the objective of us meeting up is to see if I would actually say this stuff to you in person - then don't you think it's time wasted?

I'm happy to do that if you really want. Just cut out the physical threats cos that's far worse than online verbals isn't it?

No such thing on here as facts unless its from a second source and they could making it up. You push and push and push and then wonder why you get a angry responce. you have a block on how many people but you feel you can say anything to me and i just to have except .

"I will say it again say it to my face and see what happens". 'm 57 and have never physically attacked anyone ever and no matter what you will say i won't start now.
But my best guess you prefer to hide behind a computer but the offer still stands. It might be good for you to meet real people and have a real debate as i said i'm buying and that is a promise not a threat.

In terms of being abused, I've just been called a name on here (insulted if you like) by a Birmingham fan. I'm not offering to meet him up and threatening him to say that to my face

Its not a threat of anything other an opportunity to receive a verbal responce face to face.We are both LCFC fans we might find we have something in common.

It doesn't sound like a friendly meet up Nev

But look, the one thing about me is I'm very honest. As honest in person as I am on here, ok more polite in person but that's the nature of online forums- it's reactionary and you tend to post things that you wouldn't say purely because you can't read people's body language. We all do it.

I dont mind meeting up, maybe it will help

Yeah of course, its it in the middle lane of the M1 southbound just past junction 20 in about an hour. See you there. Remember, you have to stand in the middle lane - that's where the action is
