Dead inside (so no different than now).
What can we do about it?
Eff all. It's his decision because the board are spineless.
Next season would be a write off.
Not necessarily. We would get top 4, last 16 of CL and a good run in the FA Cup.
I would rather us not get in the top 4 this year. Not playing in a competition we will never win is better than the humiliation of getting spanked by top sides every year.

I , for one, welcome the chance to test ourselves against the best out there every season.
I always love it when my pub team line up against a semi-pro side.
Guess I'm a sucker for punishment.
I'm much more concerned about keeping the squad intact, than whatever rolling contract Wenger may or may not get.
It's all well and good making fun of sensationalist headlines whenever a player takes his time with contract negotiations, but the next 6 months could drastically alter the look of our side.
There's quite a few contracts running out in 2018.
Sanchez is leaving no matter what the outcome with wenger and ozil and Kos will leave if wenger leaves
Be annoyed in the summer at the lack of a world class signing.
Get my hopes up after a good start to the season
Get peed off when stuffed by Chelsea followed by their fans chanting "Arsene Wenger - We want you to stay"
Not be too bothered about being eliminated in the league cup
Be pleased we just scraped through the group stages of the CL
Be Unhappy when thrashed 7-2 on aggregate by Bayern Barca etc.
Feel hopeful we might win the FA Cup
Feel anxious that we will finish below Spurs
You know the rest
I think the fans need to keep the pressure on in order to get him out. The problem with not having a game for a bit Wenger and the board will think the mood of the fans will have softened. Whether you agree with the banner protests or not I think thats the only way to get the message across that people are fed up with the status quo.
Who's to say if we can get someone in the mould of Simeone he can't convince Sanchez to stay and those who want to leave because Wenger is no longer there are no great loss if they go.

If we get battered in both those games (a real possibility) it will be the most toxic it has ever been during Wenger's reign.
And even if we two 1-0 wins in those games where does that leave the club?
Still in a massive battle for top 4 and out of the CL at last 16 for the 6th season running.
Arsene literally cannot win back the fans this time. We are going to finish 10+ points behind the league leaders AGAIN and the most we can hope for is another FA Cup (which still has Liverpool, United, City and Chelsea in it).
There's surely no way out for him this time.
Wenger has always been able to pull off a string of results whenever the wolves have been at the door.
February's almost over. I expect us to go on another crazy run of form now.

Arsenal made £101m last season, not including the bumper tv money deal which I have read means paying each club an average of £120m per PL club. as its an average I expect Arsenal will get a higher cut so £150m is not unreasonable. Pay some of that for title winning quality players, notably the spine of the team, rather than less than we made in normal running of the club and I might be willing to give Wenger one more chance.
