How are we stocked with players similar to him? We have nobody that can pass a football like Fabregas.

I wouldn't want him, though. He's ageing and we need a midfielder that is gonna turn up in big games.

Every time he plays this season he seems to be a stand out.

Still a few years in the tank, if you could get him for a good deal wouldn't be the worst deal.

He only really stands out compared to Matic or Kante because he can play some lovely balls and score the odd goal but in terms of effectiveness for the overall team cohesion both Matic and Kante are far more effective to what Conte wants.

Cesc is brilliant passer. Easily the most creative player in the PL. But he has his limitations, doesn't like to defend and needs time and space, afford him neither and he becomes ineffective.

This would be a problem.

I could see Jose using him as a squad player as an alternative to Herrera/Mata/Lingard playing next to Pogba in the 4-1-2-3, or even occasionally playing alongside Herrera to give Poggy a rest, but there's no way he's going to start most weeks.

If he is going to move clubs, it would be for regular football. There is no point moving to another club just to warm their bench instead.

Fabregas in the same team as Zlatan would be pretty tasty, though. Look how many chancds Pogba has created for him, and Fabregas has better vision and passing.

I would take fabregas in a heartbeat tbh.

That's not to say we don't need others but fabregas, as odious as he is at times, is a fantastic player

You need Pobga and someone else to do the defensive work for it to work though. We have Kante and Matic thst do the dirty work for us.

Sometimes it feels like we're playing with 10 players when Cesc plays. I mean you can get away against lower league sides, but in big matches though, good sides will take advantage

And he's blessed that he has kante this season giving him the time and space

Too old. Need a younger player who will slot into a defensive midfield role. I prefer Herrera as well, he does a great job. Herrera, Pogba and a new Carrick would be the best CM 3 for us next season

Pogba I think will come good

Not many will agree with you, because you are very wrong.

A player of Carrick's ilk, from 2007-2012 is what we need.

Herrera is improving everytime, been very good this season too

I don't mind people not agreeing with me as its about opinions

However I don't think I am wrong. Carrick is a good player but his weakness under pressure didnt help us so we need better. This is multiplied by who plays with him . so a pogba and Carrick MF wouldn't work

Herrera I also like but just isn't all that
