Manchester Cold War

There were empty seats galore when you played Chelsea at home in the league. I saw them on the box. Dotted all over, even seats closest to pitch.

Our crowds on a bad day dwarf yours on a good one.

It's actually quite funny because united are a big reason you have him. But for us putting Manchester on the map, I doubt he'd have chosen City in the first place. It's the hot bed of British football because of us. You lot are an after thought. We're still referred to us as 'Manchester" all around the world. The Spanish call you 'el city' for example.

What he's done for you fans is amazing there's no denying. Solely looking at what he's spent to get where he's got, he got a crap deal. He's never going to make anything out of you. Your fans don't even want to participate in the greatest time ever to be a blue. Not even for £15 a ticket or kids go free.

Are you wumming? I just need to check if that deserves a response or not as nearly every thing in it is wrong.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Why am I wumming?

You don't think United being who we are was a factor in the Sheikh buying City? Of course it was. He's taken over a club that comes from a city that is already on the world football map.

Or did he have vhs videos of Franny Lee at home?

You're either wumming or you're totally deluded.

Possibly both.

So if you want to take credit for the formation of the premier league, the introduction of sky and the reallocation of match day revenue then absolutely, you're the reason. I've been arguing they've been your doing for years so I'm more than happy for you to accept that

"Our crowds on a bad day dwarf yours on a good one."

Your empty seats don't. My own eyes that can see the whole of each stadium and the GMP both back that up.

Most important men in our history are Sir Alex and Sir Matt. Most important in yours is an Arab billionaire.
Theres the difference. Chelsea and City have hollow success. A £2bn investment into Swansea would see them competing for titles too.

Take away United, Arsenal and Liverpool's owners and we are all still the same clubs.

Also we hadn't won the title in 26 years when sky was formed and the PL. Arsenal, Liverpool and Leeds all had same chance as us. A few other clubs too. We were just ran better and had a genius as manager.

I'm hoping that United will take up the City challenge and up our level again. I think it took the emergence of Chelsea to truly drive us onto becoming SAF's last great side.

Bring it on. I know I'm not from Manchester but I'd much rather it be City than Liverpool who got the wealth.

Se,

Seriously, you've got to be being intentionally stupid?

I think he acts ditzy to make the boys like him.

Makes no difference who got the wealth. It just happened to be City and Chelsea. It's still all hollow. It's not an achievement to win stuff with such levels of investment.

City fans trying to compare us benefitting same from Sky n PL, despite us not being league champions for 26 years when they both debuted, is laughable and clutching at the tiniest of straws.

City are taking our coaches / scouts who were on 25,000 a year and giving them 40,000 because their owner has deeper pockets. Great. What a fantastic achievement that is.

I really can't tell sometimes if people actually believe what they are saying or not.

No one did, you t!t, you're talking about a completely unrelated point. Whoever was successful is completely immaterial, your question was what attracted Mansour to city. The fact that you are still equating it to Uniteda success to the point of misunderstanding the underlying reason (and also referring it to our as if you personally deserve some sort of credit) is not only stupidity but a fair amount of arrogance as well.

All made possible by years of hard work, blooding youth and great man management.......

Oh no wait that's a proper football club just down the road who don't need charity to win trophies.

Filthy rag in stupidity and arrogance shocker!!

It's the history bit is the one that gets me, Ferguson and Busby are the most important part to Uniteds success is absolutely right. The fact that United existed at that point is due to the actions of City twice though.

Couple that with the nerve to have some kind of moral view on a situation that was supported in the first place, then it's nothing else but stupidity and arrogance.

You can't blame them though. People support United if they are in desperate need of an ego boost but can't afford to take cocaine every day.

The thing that gets up the nose of non Man U fans is the false superiority of their fans. Here is a classic case. Because they 'chose' to support that football team they claim moral superiority over every other fan. Which is absolute ballacks to be truthful.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I do find it rare amongst proper United fans to be like that to be fair, at least the ones I know, which is why I'm assuming SE is being intentional here (at least, I hope he is)

Of course it is. Most at any level is out of control of the fans, particularly nowadays.
