I don't think we're 'dominating' the game with possession other teams are letting us have the ball cos they know we can do f all with it apart from drag ourselves out of position.

Possession when having players that can move off the ball and do something with it when they have the ball is a beauty to behold.

If McLaren is looking at the last 30 mins on Tuesday as his alternative then it will be 4-2-3-1 rather than 4-4-2. Ince played centrally with Vydra and Camara either side of him but not on the touchline. It was the full-backs who provided the width. This formation would also suit Martin extremely well as it gets players near to him which is what he needs. It works differently with Nugent whose movement provides a bit of space for the others to use. it would suit a few of our players but I don't know where it leaves Hughes, Butterfield or Bryson who are not natural holding players or wide men.

I'd worry if we started with Vydra and the 4-2-3-1, he was very central and Blackburn were hanging on for the points at that stage of the game, had their full back ventured forward a bit it might have been a lottle different. 4-2-3-1 towards the end of the game for me please.

Either way though, I think we'll see a better performance, soon we'll even be able to think about points again
