Mings should be given a pay rise for doing something that, let's face it, any football fan would dream of

Robb's article saying that they wouldn't be 6th after the Bournemouth game

posted on 5/3/17

Haha funny article actually.

With a bit of Defenders of the Earth thrown in there.

You mickeys sure pulled one out of the bag yesterday. Didn't watch unfortunately as had a prior engagement, did slap a £10 on Arsenal at 1-0 at 7-1. Fcking pansy bottlers. Didn't even look at the team sheet, how bad was it? They could've put a few nails in your CL coffin yesterday if the Arsenal board would finally give Wenger some of the TV money. Forget they've paid their new stadium up, therefore freeing up loads of cash from all them expensive season tickets and lucrative sponsorship deals they have; combined with the steady stream of income from having their best players poached faster than a fish in milk, AND now the TV deal. Someone needs to give Arsene a chance!!! Barca?

Back to the 80s classic, be sure not to mention Phil Jones' name in the same sentence as Defenders of the Earth though. After a solid start to the season, he's looking like joining up to Defenders on the Earth.....worst Defenders on the Earth, according to some on here.

Hopefully Bottlenham live up to their billing. You want an Everton win, right Planete?

Ibra diffently will get minimum 3 games ban. What he said is bs. For Mings case it's not easy to find out if he meant to do that or not. He could easily say he tried to jump out of the way although I think he meant to stamp on his face. Rooney's story of him saying he saw the incident was a big lie. He was next to it but facing the other way. That was funny. But the funniest part was Mourinho post match interview when he praised Mr Friend and claimed he always respects/ defends refs decisions and doesn't like to talk about incidents after the games.

I'll be honest I didn't see the incident first hand. And not because I was "too far away" I had the inconvenience of a less than smooth stream. So all I got was a picture of Zlatan dabbing behind his ear with his fingers, looking for blood. I thought "oh Fck me here we go, he's pretending summat happened to him, so he's definitely guilty" And he was. But at least he did take a smack and wasn't feigning that side.

Should've been 8 v 10 all said and done. I know if they'd both been sent off Arter's life-journey wouldn't have took him down the path to slaying Pogba, but still Bournemouth could/should have finished with 8 men. And us with 10. And we'd have won. IT'S A DISGRACE!!!

But as long as Jose knows we're still on that long unbeaten run

With Ibrahimovic banned, Rooney will have the chance to impress potential interested parties in upcoming fixtures.

He's probably got a few shop window performances left in him.

Not really.
We are top class bullies, and flat track failures this season.

I like Mourinho's reaction to what happened yesterday.
"We are from that generation of street football and football for big guys. We are not the kind of generation who goes to the media and cries about what happened."
Yeah right.

Interesting to see if the FA do anything about it.

Ibrahimovic's definitely looked intentional but did the referee see it already? If so the incompetency to not give him a second yellow is scarcely believable.

Likewise with Mings I agree with Murphy the more I watch the replay the more I think it may have been unintentional, he was watching the ball. The cursory glances downwards looked as if he was trying to stop himself tripping over Rooney. If it was intentional I think he's disguised it well enough.

Can see both getting off without further action.

Jose Mourinho Post Match Interview (Zlatan Ibrahimovic & Mings ...

posted on 5/3/17

Think both will be done for violent conduct.
As regard to whether the ref saw Ibras elbow or not, Im pretty sure the rules were changed a while ago, and the FA can still take action if they see fit.
Huge blow for United if they lose him for 3 prem games.
Could pretty much end their chances of top 4 this season.

Both players getting 2 bans?

Zlatan is definitely going to get a ban.

Mings is potentially more difficult because the intent is not as obvious and I would imagine the ban for stamping on someone's head would be longer than 3 matches! Can they give him a hefty ban on the evidence?

My guess would be a 3 match ban for both. Zlatan because he's guilty and Mings because he's probably guilty but not certain enough to give him a longer ban.

Of course he will get away with it. Haven't you heard? They've added him 5 goals on to his league tally as he's crying at not being top. Defoe goal today and he'll be SIXTH in the list!!

Most likely won't get banned. FA and Utd have a special bond. It's all a fckng joke.

Ibra was definitely a malevolent elbow. Don't take what these pundits say about how it is understandable because he was angry. He has picked out a player and deliberately assaulted him. Nonsense he wasn't set off.

FA should go back and ban him for three games for the elbow, and a further two for it's malevolent and pre-planned nature. Disgraceful behaviour from someone at the top of the game.

Mourinho talking to Mings as they went out for the second half is off too, if there is any truth in that story.

If they review the Mings incident, they're bound to see Ibrahimovic aim a stamp at Mings.
- albeit as per his performance yesterday, he missed!
