No better way to start making Wembley our new home and fortress than by winning the FA Cup there.

Probably ace knowing us .....

Its a sign of how far we have come that I'm still seething about Evertons 2nd. We never concede 2 at home!?

Would be amazing to go unbeaten at home all season in the final season at the Lane, a fitting farewell. We'll find a way to bollox it up though.

This

I'd love us to go the whole season unbeaten at WHL but if we don't then I'd rather it wasn't Arsenal or the southern mancs who are the last victors - they're our final 2 games here

It left another question mark over Dier's concentration levels this season.

I'm more annoyed about the first with it ruining our clean sheet and for Kane's sake, moving Lukaku one nearer to him as the top goalscorer.

Wembley your fortress

Congratulations Spurs for this great season. At least, unlike Arsenal, you show up for the games you need to win. Hopefully other Gunner fans will recognize the large void between the current Arsenal and Spurs squads. Arsenal fans, time to quit taking cheap shots at Spurs. and examine the mess that is this season's Gunners.

Without wanting to sound like I'm peeing on your bonfire....

We were unbeaten at home for well over a year. Then lost three in a week. It's nice, but don't waste your time building it up into something it's not.

You say that but when did Spurs last lose three at home on the trot. We have lost three all season home AND away.
Our home record has been excellent for a long time now but this season we are top notch.

Sorry to disappoint you mate. I know you want us to fail.

Also Igor, its not just the fact we are unbeaten its the fact that in that unbeaten run we have won 11 and drawn two.

Our home form is outstanding.

We're talking in relation to the final season at WHL, not the ongoing history of the club. Thought that was pretty obvious

Anyone know what our all time record of consecutive home league wins is?

I'm not sure exactly what about my post you all disagree with so much?

At the turn of the year, it wasn't beyond the realms of possibility that Liverpool could go unbeaten at home. Then, within 6 days, we'd lost 3 on the bounce. Point is, all this "Fortress Whatever" stuff is nonsense. So enjoy it while it lasts was my point.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Most of us are talking in reference to our last season at WHL whereas you're talking about Anfield in general. You'll still be at Anfield next season whereas we won't be at WHL will we?

Signing off our last season at the stadium unbeaten. Does that register with you yet? Or should I simplify it some more?

posted on 5/3/17

I would say 12 wins and 2 draws from 14 games is enough to describe WHL as a fortress this season

Of course we are aware that we could lose this record, what we are stating is that for some considerable time White Hart Lane has become a fortress for us and that is True. We have only dropped 4 points at the lane this season, scored a bucket load of goals and conceded just 7.

Of course we know things can go wrong we are just stating that we are proud of our home record which is outstanding atm.

Now bore off onto your own board.

Looks like we have the bad football out of the way at the right time and the right football is being played at the right time. I can't see us being beaten just yet.

As a caveat to the good home form v the bad away form....

We have spoken man times about having got all of our hard away games out of the way. This is going to skew the away record, and it SHOULD improve as we only play bottom half team now.

On the flip, it boosts the home form somewhat. Although after yesterday, we only have two hard home games so still quality
