We've seen similar from different squads but the same manager. It's clearly a managerial issue.
Who signed them? trains them? motivates them? decides not heir wages? the tactics? etc. etc.
The individual error from Mustafi aside, the problem tonight was an inability to adapt to being down to 10. Symbolic of Wenger's lack of tactical versatility.
Who picks the players, who buys the players. If they are not mentally tough enough he should of sacked them off instead of putting them on nice cushy contracts. Hes to blame 100%
Yeah we should keep Arsene Wenger (the only constant in our decade of failure) and we should just sell the rest of the team.
Make no mistake, Wenger is the problem here. If he can't motivate the players to give 100% in every situation then he isn't good enough to lead this club.
What happened tonight and in Munich would never have happened under Wenger, and would never happen under Conte.
Getting beat up happens sometimes, but at least 6 of the 10 goals we conceded were self inflicted and that is just beyond the pale.
Au revoir Arsene
Can't blame it all on the players, if they're so 5hite then why is Wenger so loyal to them? Has stacks of money to spend but dithers and pulls out of potential deals because he believes in those who always fail. Besides doesn't Wenger earn more than any of the players anyway?
*would never have happened under Fergie
Good players should not be getting turned over 10-2 like that. Even if you did not have a manager they should be working their socks off and grinding out the results (or trying to) but these lazy players do not even care/try hard enough.
Have you questioned whether they are hiding behind the manager and letting him cop all of the blame while they are equally as guilty in this nonsense.
What clown of a manager would bring on Mesut faking lazy Ozil when down to ten men? It was like playing with 9 pen ffs. Game was over and a 2-1 defeat would have been fine. He should have told the team to sit back a defend not go all out like they were gonna suddenly score 4-5 goals.
