Did you wake up upset because you remembered you're a Spurs fan?

10-2 on aggregate.. well done Arsenal

Don't dlude yourself, Bayern were coastin with a 4-goal cushion.
Their penalty was stonewall mate, take your blinkers off and while the red card was clearly wrong, Xhaka only got a yellow which really should have been red leading up to the 3rd goal.Disgraceful lunge as is his habit.

Personally I was all set to see an agonizingly close 3-0 or 4-1 win. Arsenal falling just short as in previous years. I think it's disingenuous to highlight the agg scoreline with such a big incorrect call being made by the referee. Given the game as to was before the sending off did at the very least indicate that Arsenal were likely to narrow the gap.

The game was lost in Munich and anyone pretending otherwise is being disingenuous. However we played well in both legs for 50 minutes or so. The problem is you should not capitulate when something goes wrong. That comes from a lack of tactical coaching and an inability adapt to different or key moments in the game. That comes from not being properly drilled in training.

Deluded
For Bayern it was just a warm up game for their upcoming weekend match. There were already through and showed no intensity. If there was anything to play for they would have been up for it.

Forget the fact that the OP is a WUM ... some of his views are actually shared by real Arsenal fans. It's a troubling sign of how low expectations have dropped that there are fans who think suffering some sort of setback during a game is a legitimate excuse for a complete mental and tactical collapse.

What a 55 minute performance.

Pity the game lasts for 90

I think the point that people are just trying to stop posters who are ranting as though we got beaten 5-1 last night because of a generally poor team performance and a sound thrashing that saw us outplayed and outclassed all night long.

I stand by what I've said already which is that I think we'd still be out, however there'd be nothing humiliating about the agg scoreline. Blame Wenger and the team for the loss by all means but the humiliation in the agg scoreline is down to the ref incorrectly giving Bayern a one man advantage. Enough with the hysteria already, it's even more embarrassing than the scoreline people are making it over.

Pep,
"hysteria"..."embarrassing" or is it realism. What is a greater matter of concern is that there are still Arsenal fans blaming the referee for this awful outcome. What part of 5-1 and 10-2 do they not understand??????????

This is a team that is on a death spiral and the sooner Gunner fans realize this, the sooner the problem(s) will be addressed. The shine is worn off from this club and fewer world stars want to play for them. Why? I'll sit down and wait for my answer!
