We could very well see a different arsenal next season I have a feeling we are gonna struggle when wenger sanchez and Ozil leaves

There was no EPL 20 years ago and hardly anything if he financial differentiation.

Also 1994/1995 we finished 12th and were actually in a relegation battle in March, April, there were like 12 teams involved in it! I know in that season there were issues with all the controversy surrounding George Graham which didn't help at all but we still had Seaman, Dixon, Bould, Adams, Winterburn, Parlour, Merson and Wright. That team shouldn't have finished anywhere near 12!

Last 12 seasons under Wenger: 2 FA cups 0 league titles. AKBs are living in the past.

Everyone respects what he did for the club in his first 10 years especially, and yes he raised the bar for this football club, but for the last 5 years he's been tarnishing his legacy bit by bit. Why would any Arsenal fan want him to continue doing that?

Wenger raised the bar of what Arsenal can achieve.
Sadly he is not matching the own standards he set and we should try and get someone who can.

It isn't the fact we aren't winning titles, either. It is the manner we are not winning them.

Think you'll be hitting the reset button if Wenger goes. Sanchez and Ozil obviously will likely leave, much of the squad will probably need an overhaul and the owners will need to start putting more money in the side. This leads to a lack of stability and look where that got us....

What would u want if u was an arsenal fan then?

Alexis will be more likely to stay with a change of manager.
Ozil is publicly stating Wenger leaving is not a factor.
The owners are not shy in making money available (3rd highest net spend over last 5 years).

We are not in the same position as United were. We are losing stability with Wenger here.

We will see then i guess.

I don't know is what I'd want, on one hand CL qualification every season is great (you miss it when it's gone), on the other it's nice to win things.

You'll.be ripping out a lot of foundations at the club though when he does leave, and that will mean a lot of staff and players will need to leave.

Let's be honest, stability is not what football is about for a fan.
We want excitement and hope.

Stability is probably the most overrated aspect in football.

True. That's how a lot of people felt when Fergies football was boring though

Kind of an irreverent point bringing up his past glories imo. He's getting old, and regardless of how's he's been doing lately, even if he was wining titles, he'll be moving on sooner rather that later, and we'd have to face life without him. He's undoubtedly done great things for this club. And we'll always be thankful for that. But the reality is everything comes to an end.

The club touts its self as a big club, who wants to compete at the top level, and the truth is with Wenger at the moment we aren't doing that. We look no closer to doing that than we did 10 years ago. You cant use achievements from years gone by to justify your position now, or in the future. His recent record is achieving the bare minimum a big club would expect. We have to be aiming for big trophies, not accepting 4th and the odd fa cup. If Wenger was achieving that with a club like Everton, it'd be a different story. But our ambition has to be higher. And for all the good Wenger has done, he just doesn't cut it now. We have to take the risk to improve

I have a feeling that Wenger will go if we win the FA Cup. He'll want to leave on a high.

If that happens, Ozil and sanchez will wait to see who the new manager is before making any decisions

Do the banners only come out when we lose or when we concede?

The guy who startes this thread left out two league cups and a European Cup Winners Cup. First of all get your facts right mate. Second, Arsenal have always been a great club, before Wenger and will be after Wenger. And here's a fact for you. 4th place wins nothing!

Oh and an FA Cup in 1978/9. And our greatest ever Manager was Herbert Chapman. 3 Championships on the trot! He was the man who made our club great.

Alternative facts OP? How about, last ten years under Wenger, two FA Cups. In the ten years before Wenger, two league titles, one FA Cup, two League Cups, one Cup Winners Cup. Those dark days huh?
