Also when it comes to signings, Klopp got it right with Mané, Matip and Wijnaldum so signing 2 or 3 players in January probably would have made a difference.

It could have but the reason he got it right is because he got the players he wanted. The fact he didn't sign anybody would suggest he couldn't sign the players he wanted.

I think that unless SAF told him it he doesn't think it has any value

Gerrard did that in our best season in recent memory, dropped deep to split the centre backs.

I can understand why Origi was voted in the worst team of the season in his final season with Lille.

The whole point of it is the right centre back goes right and the left centre back goes left whilst the full backs push up the pitch. It's a common tactic.

At times in that first half Klaven shirked some responsibility and Can was doing his job. Not good enough imo.

Mané is a great player, but massively stifled against deeps holding a deeper defensive line.
