Danny Rose one of the best LBs in the world
Improved massively but saying he's top 5 in Europe may be pushing it.
But then thinking about it there's not a huge amount to choose from at the very top end.
In the top 3 in the Premier League though.
He's clearly number one in the premier league that's safe to say.
Top 5 in the world may be a push, top 10 maybe

for no particular reason the overall standard in the PL is pretty poor at the moment, i'd say it's a problem position for all of united/city/arsenal/pool. only chelsea and spurs can be especially happy with their LB.
The next time I have a discussion with someone about the lack of genuinely talented defenders in world football I'm going to show them this thread.
Azpilicueta is a better lb and probably one of the best rb's in the league.
I would also put Bertrand in that top 3.
I'd rather have Rose than Azpi at LB every day of the week

This
Azpi doesn't even play lb anymore ffs.
But he can do and looked as good as anyone when he did so.
Azpi is 100% the better defender but a lb is a different breed nowadays. he was found out a bit there last season
And when he did Hazard offered everything on the left hand side of the pitch, he just had to stay compact defensively and give Hazard the ball in possession
Rose on the other hand has to run up and down the line all game, dribbling past players and creating chances himself
he is probably in the top 5 cb's, lb's and rb's in the league but he can't be greedy
No. Lol.
Marcelo, Jordi Alba, Rodriguez, Alex Sandro, Alaba, Filipe Luis... Jesus Rose ain't even close.
Going off last night Fuchs would be in with a shout in the Premier League but not consistently good enough.
I hear Legia Warsaw have a top notch left back.
based on last night wes morgan is one of the top 5 LB's in europe

lol I'm not happy with ours, Rose would be a massive improvement
probably top 20 in Europe... I think hes a very good player, but the system we play suits him absolutely perfectly.
People who watch him regularly only really u n how his game has developed. He is one of the few who gave a good account of himself in the CL (Along with Walker).
For me he is, but I understand why people are reluctant to agree. Their precious MOTD or SSN pundits haven't informed them how actually good he is.
Annoyingly injury prone though.
Very harsh Chronic, the reason why our system works is because of the fullbacks, not vice versa imo
