Monaco once again proving me right
city boars doesn't even have a much thread!
Guess we have a chance of winning at City if we press like we did on Monday and attack attack attack?
Sigh, I'm late again to the party. Just seen that it's 2-0 to Monaco now
Leicester could be the English team that progresses furthest in this year's CL.
Who'd have believed that in August?!
Half time can have magical effects.
They are prem champions, to be fair.
Leicester emulating the 'Roy Of the Rovers' effect at the highest club level in Europe.

Monaco to blitz them with 5 more goals?
I'm not actually fussed who wins this, but it's interesting to see expansive skilful football tearing apart a team held up to be one of the best we have, and who'll undoubtedly batter us at the council house next time we play them. Sobering stuff.
We're getting all of their players.
Not ablebto watch as much world footie as I used to but wow this Monaco side are awesome going on that first half?
For those in the know is this a one of display or is this par for the course?
If this is normal how are they not spoken in the same breath as barca Bayern etc?

Highest scorers in all of Europe. They are a quality team.
This seasons CL last 16 round seems like a 'you score x amount in the first leg and then we blitz you in the second leg'.
City will score at some point so Monaco will need at least one more.
33rd time in 48 games they've scored two or more this season. That's ridiculous.
442 is doable. You just need two absolute beasts in midfield.

Just waiting for Hafi to pop in and amend this with
"If United would have taken 73.56783629% of their chances then we would make it 39.678 games that we've scored 2.35663 goals a game out of 45 games"

Like I say in the OP they've made me loads of money in spread betting
For all the jiiiiiz thrown at Monacos players, Sane looks a brilliant signing
Whenever I mention a French player or manager who I think is good, I get a dozen replies telling me Ligue 1 is rubbish. Maybe this will change people's minds.
Theres a goal coming for city.

----------------------------------------------------------------------It it is rubbish
But they have a couple of good sides
Should Aguero have had a pen there. He gets the shot away but gets caught afterwards. You could argue that if the tackle wasn't coming in he'd have had an easier chance. Think refs miss this a lot as long as the strikers gets the shot. Anywhere else on the pitch and it's a free kick.
