Not sure why this would be such a surprise if true. Why would Wenger walk away?
On behalf of Arsenal PLC, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your keen interest in our affairs.
We are pleased to announce that silver, red, Cannon Club and Junior Gunner membership renewals for 2016/17 season are now open.
"..it's not all about results, but also business part of the club."

My favourite part of his interview. Just proves that, 20 years down the line, neither of them understand why the fans are so p/ssed off.
But if the club offer Wenger a new 2 year contract, it will be the final proof we need to show that, as a club, we are on the brink of terrible, terrible trouble. So, should such an event occur, I will back the manager to the hilt, as he will be all that is standing between where we are now, and total meltdown.
Only chance he's going is if we don't make top 4. Get top 4, and he'll definitely sign 2 years.

Would you rather the club completed neglected the business side of things and we ended up like Leyton Orient?

Sorry must've missed the 20 year period when Leyton Orient were in the Champions League.
Or maybe you were trying to be smart?
Yeah... bet that was it.
Best stick to what you're best at, fella.
Orient were a League 1 side chasing promotion and unlucky to lose out in the playoffs. Then they got a new owner who neglected the business side of the club.
3 years later, they are now looking certain for relegation to the conference and likely to go into administration.
If you want another example, how about Portsmouth? A decent premiership side, now fighting for promotion from League 2

So a League One club overspending is comparable to a CL club underinvesting?
Not quite sure how that fits in with either Danny Fiszman's or Ivan Gazidis' comments regards squad investment, but there we go...
Not sure how spending spare cash the club has will lead to us going the way of Leyton Orient tbh.
