I tend to disagree. The way you've written this it seems like Arsenal have been on some crazy roller coaster with Wenger. If anything it's been a case of death by a thousand cuts. A very long (13 years), slow and fairly tedious and uneventful decline from title winners, to title challengers, to top 4 certs, to top 4 challengers, which is where they are now. It's the lack of excitement that irks a lot of Arsenal fans as much as the repetition of events each season.

It's more like eating the same dish at home everyday.

There's been none of this gradual decline people speak of.

With the exception of last year's hilarious campaign, we've finished exactly 3rd or 4th in every single season since the 2004-05 campaign. Miles off any sort of challenge.

The speed limiter was set and we've been coasting ever since.

Sadly all too predictable. You can literally know the games Arsenal will lose before they have lost them now.

No progression at all since the emirates move. Time for a new coat of paint and a fresh attitude.

Footballing tragedy It's nothing of the sort. All Arsenals problems are self inflicted, driven by the desire to make money rather than achieving anything on the pitch. Arsenal got themselves in a position to push on and potentially have another golden era, but they fecked it up.

Yes they are self inflicted but that's not the fans fault who follow the club in vast numbers home and away.

Anyway, all this talk of doom and gloom is over the top. We are in the top 10 richest clubs in the world, play in a great stadium and have the FAC semi finals in a few weeks time. Talk of our death is premature.

Having said that, Wenger can you kindly feck off now?

I'd say what's happened to Portsmouth and Coventry represent a football tragedy not a side who just can't win a league 😂
