He's priceless atm. Who else would we get as good as him with his physique and age. Although we could sign all of our loans and bring in a few decent midfielders.
Id keep him for now. Could lead us well in the premier league if we made it
Wouldn't even entertain the idea FFS! It's like people "fans" can't handle us having the possibility of us actually having a modecum of success. Sit tight and hold on, we are going up and Wood will lead the line in the PL, he is good enough, our back five are good enough, Vieira will be good enough, we just need to fill in the rest of the midfield.
So for the past ten years we've done this
Sell our best player every summer
And for past ten years it has got us nowhere
Why do people make excuses for the club,
It's a failed policy
If we don't go up, let's spend and build on this side we've got
Just add another striker to him.
Given that McCormack attracts a fee of 12 million quid each time he moves on then CW is worth far more than 15 million.
An offer of 25 million would be enough to see him depart. Any player can be bought it's just a question of how much it will take.
No way should we sell him. Unfortunately, missing out on promotion will see him snapped up by Everton or the like.
Sometimes the Bishop of Wakefield is controversial but then again sometimes he smashes the nail right on the head and drives it 100% into the 'Wood'.
Mate my thoughts exactly.
The discussion over the Owners and credit being given got me thinking and just like we should have never have sold genuine talent that could and should have moved us onwards and upwards we should never have been lumbered with the type of guardians of the club we have had in recent years.
Really hope that Monk, Pep, Beattie and the team are on a roll back to the big time were we belong.
Big thanks to them all for giving us fans such belief again.
Bishop of Wakefield...more like tossa of Lupsit
Agree that we need to hold onto our better players and build on what we have. Be nice to see that this summer regardless of which league will be lucky to have Leeds United. Now that is a FACT, schoolboys and girls!

Hey, leave Lupset out of it .......................
I sold my chocolate Labrador to a man in Lupset not long ago. I had previously trained it to attack LIW, whenever he came to visit the lady across the road from me.
That's odd ......... men in Lupset don't often pay for anything.

Has OP sobered up yet?

😎 As the OP it's interesting watching the thread develop.
At no time did I say that I personally thought we should sell Wood.
I thought I'd use the headline to create a debate around the topic....given the supposed interest from Everton....
...but 5 one-stars later ( 😂😂😂 ) ....
.....I'm trying to work out if they were given :-
1/ because they think I'm wrong to want to sell him
(when I'm not wanting to sell)
2/ because they think it's a stupid thing to discuss
(which it isn't because we HAVE been selling our prized assets
3/ because everybody just hates me
(yeah ok...it's that one isn't it?!)

Really? Where do I find the stats page? 😞😞
So much for ALAW ......😞
Feeling miserable now......😞😞
don't take it to heart Salonika....
Although if anyone did want to sell Wood, I would point them in the direction of every other time we have sold our prized assets and not properly replaced them.
Jonty the statto really worries me. He drills down into the bowels of 606 and could probably tell you how many times you went to the bog 3 years ago.
Are working for the Russians or North Koreans? - think we should be told
Monty has no boss, he is an independent shadow asset known as "the length"
"LIW, whenever he came to visit the lady across the road from me."
The way LIW writes, he is visiting the lady across the road from the lady across the road from you, Boy!
