Excellent player.

Can see why Mourinho wants him if true as is a workhorse type who does his defensive side with gusto.

Always been impressed whenever I have seen him play. Very good movement, technically sound. Just a good all round footballer really.

Explosive burst of pace (for another couple of years) , uses both feet well... He's a good player, imo not good enough to replace Martial.... Unless we allow him to wear his Croatian shirt, when he seems to be particularly inspired

If Perisic does what Jose wants better than Martial does then he's the better player for the team

Perhaps that's what's happening here

Yeah as others have mentioned, he does his defensive duties effectively. An all round good player. And his peak age, this is the best time to get him IF we do get him.

Kinda worried/sad about who he may replace though?

I get that... Just personally can't really find any enthusiasm for binning a young talent with Martials potential... Unless it's for something special, which Perisic isn't

I dunno... Buying Perisic... Griezmann... Lose martial... Probably less playing time for Rashford... All a bit meh

Only seen the guys at the Euros but was very impressed. Was their stand out performer for me in a team that had Modric & Rakitic.

If there's any legs in this then we're after a very good wide attacking player. He's right footed but very adept with his left, too.

Valencia right wing back and Perisic left wing back. Can see it a mile off.

Just don't see us signing him to replace any of our four best attackers. If we get him I reckon the 3 at the back is here to stay and Perisic will be our left sided Valencia.

Luke shaw is off me thinks.

Not a chance in hell we will sell Martial and replace with Perisic. If we do, the manager's sanity has to be questioned.

I have a sneaky feeling our current 352/3421 is here to stay and Jose wants an attacking left sided player and Perisic could fit the role well. Basically like Alonso n Moses but we'd have Valencia n Perisic.

Absolutely not even in realms of possibility that we're guna bin off one of Europe's most promising forwards to bring in Perisic. But you'd like it if we did.

Your best players are just on their A games and seeing you over the line (Hazard, Kante, Costa Pedro)

Look I think Jose isn't as big a fan of martial as a lot of the fans are. I agree he is one of the brightest young talents in Europe, but certain players don't suit a managers style. Perisic is a fantastic player, didn't suit klopp at all. Look at de bruyne and Jose, he was one of the top young talents in Europe, played a few matches early season, and played well. Then we never saw him again because Jose said he didn't train hard enough. Left to Wolfsburg and the rest is history. Can't really argue with mourinho doing it though as Chelsea went on to win the league again under him.

If Jose switches to a back 3 permanently (which I doubt), it will be a more defensive player on the left wig back than perisic.

He won't get rid of Martial. Rooney is going, Zlatan is 35 and Martial was our leading scorer last year.

He's also a huge fan favourite and i do mean huge. United fans have taken really well to Martial. If he was sold and replaced by Perisic, dare I say there would be a bit of a backlash on Jose.

If we got Neymar/Bale (both incredibly unlikely) then he may get away with it.

Not buying Martial leaving. I think he's guna be a monster of a player for us. He's still so young.

The whole Perisic thing is funny too as he was actually suspended for the game Jose attended last night. He may have been watching someone else and press have got it wrong as per.

I'm fairly certain the fan base will get over Martial leaving if we get Griezmann and Perisic

SE85. Martial already hasn't had as many opportunities this season as he would like, and now if Jose adds another attacking player that plays in his position you don't see the correlation between what they might mean for his united career?
