I read that too, still Utd's feeder club if true. I also read Sissoko and Lamela are targets for a number of Serie A clubs, please just go.
No way will Dier go to Utd , Sissoko was a panic buy due to Eriks injury, if Erik wants to go so be it.
How much would you let Dier go for Edward?

40m for Dier
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Way too cheap
60m and I am sure Levy would think about it.
£40mil does seem very low considering united paid nearly £90mil last summer for a haircut to sell shirts...
jesus 40 million for dier 15 mill max

£40m is double his worth. Been average at best this season.
Don't want to sell obviously and while we have poch we won't as he loves Dier

I'm sure it's BS but i was thinking the same think as Victor this morning when watching SSN.
If this is true i think it could be a ploy to entice Dele. I would hate to lose Dier for any price becuase of the bond with the team and Dele in particular.
They are best friends off the pitch and they love being in the same team. If Dier were to go to UTD then next season they put in a huge bid for Dele, offer him double the wages then it could be goodbye.
Maybe you disagree but it was the first thing that popped into my head this morning
I think this makes sense for UTD and actually thought this the other day. They need a proper DM to play alongside Pogba and get the best out of him.
Or like others have said, could be the start of a double swoop, Dier and Dele.
I think anybody from Spurs needs to be careful about going to Utd especially with he frequency of coach change in recent times. I doubt Mourinho will be there that long if he doesn't meet requirements.
Money has lost all its value in football now, it's just thrown around like confetti.
United are united and they're a massive club, with the biggest fan base in the country. They also have the knack of winning trophies without being that good of a team, spurs are as good as i've known them and they still don't look like winning anything.
I wouldn't blame them for going especially considering wages too. I just doubt they'll want to leave or be allowed to leave just yet anyhow.
When will these dopey caaaants in the media realise that we no longer sell out players to rival teams ?
40 mill from abroad and he would probably be sold. 40 mill from United and they would likely be told to add another 20 mill or Fack off
It's going to be a crazy summer

United have also looked as far away from winning the title in these last few years than at any point in PL history. You also didn't mention that.

and? what have we won?
If he is promised a role in CM at United - a position he is establishing himself in for England - I could see it being a huge driver for Dier.
Add to that bigger wages.
The only way we could head this off (if true) is to sign another CB and let Dier concentrate on supplementing Wanyama in midfield.
