accountant are boring, why are you so interested in it
I see levy still won't commit to Wembley for next season yet.
I wouldnt be surprised if delays with local infrastructure are the reason for delaying the announcement regarding this being out last season at WHL or not.
The stadium itself seems to be flying up but no doubt those clowns at Haringey have fingers stuck where the sun dont shine.

Because we are proud at how well our club is run on and off the field.
Get that yankee hand egg sport out of england.
Also how many levels are there if you are currently on level 6?
I firmly believe that the positive outlook, unity and togetherness across the Club, the team and the fans

Slight dig at the nomads down the road with their in/out in fighting? Hope so
Makes great reading. Really quite proud of how we are managed, we have no right being where we are in the league tbh which goes to show the great job Levy and the board are doing. Just need to add a trophy or 2.

Brilliant but still would like to win something. Pointless all these numbers if the club continue to be potless seaOn after season. It's time we step up and start to win some trophies.

phenom. I'm 30 now. Just can't be bothered to change it.
Afternoon Spurs fans.
Just read this. What do you make of it? Is there any point in staying at WHL for an extra season, but still having to go to Wembley in 2018-19?
Does it all hinge on the new stadium not being ready in time?
if we are going to play games there though why delay it a season, just move into the new ground asap

Some one above got it right.....The potential for the stadium not to be ready is all down to the local infrastructure. Public tansport and road access is pretty poor and we're nearly doubling those numbers. Upgardes to WHL station and other stuff is essential to make the new WHL properly accessible and there is a requirement for these to be in place before we can open out stadium to its full capacity.
Unfortunately local infrastructure is out of our hands and in those of TFL and Haringey, both renowned for their glacial speed of getting stuff done. The new WHL station has only just gone out to tender and theres a lot to get done in about 16 months.
The stadium itself is bang on target

Ah fair enough. I initially thought it was a bit odd delaying the move. But it makes more sense now. Of only the Beeb had included such detail in their article.
Interesting things for me:
Net investment for fixed assets is now 288m. I assume that is money spent on the new ground - purchases, work so far etc - and is deducted from the 750m total.
We have gone from being 20m in debt to having 50m in the bank in the last 2 years. That is another big chunk towards the stadium. What is does show is we are able to squirrel away 35m a season now - despite the stadium spending -and still compete. Most of the extra revenue from the stadium should be available to spend I guess. Wages.
With those two things in mind, we could be looking at 400m remaining for the build. With a decent sponsorship deal we could be looking at a very manageable debt

You'll probably do what everybody else does and get some sort of 15-20 year mortgage deal. This is one of the most favourable environments TBH.
With a bit of common sense, Tottenham can still manage to fulfil annual premiums of around £25-35 mill without breaking a sweat.
Although Arsenal's build was done in a much tougher financial environment, we've still managed to put a £250 million dent in the overall bill over the past 10 years.

I do not claim to be any financial expert, total layman here.
Yeah our build has come at a pretty favourable time to be fair - plenty of dough sloshing about, an academy bearing fruit, and a coach willing, nay eager, to use them.
The 750m quoted is pretty daunting. I know we must have put a big chunk of that down already as we have acquired property and the groundwork on the build is done (I assume).
I am also assumin the fixed assets are bricks and mortar....am I wrong? Are players classed as fixed assets?
