Ian Wright has probably been underrated since. Not really his fault. Since him we had Bergkamp, Anelka, Henry, Kanu, Wiltord, Van Persie and even Adebayor put in a pretty excellent season for us.
To suggest that he's on Henry's level though is silly. Thierry Henry wasn't as good as Ronaldo before the injuries. Other than that, as a striker he was pretty peerless in his time.
Wrighty has a couple of major factors that put a small dent in his legacy. Thierry being the big one.
Also the fact he joined a team that had won two titles in the previous 3 years and then not another until Wright was an injury prone, aged, bit part player doesn't help. We played awful football for a large part of his Arsenal career, and he even managed to get himself suspended for our best triumph of that era - the CWC final success.
Still, these are only small dents to his legacy, and we should appreciate the quality he gave us - even in the shadow of Henry.
Henry is arguably the best player to ever play in our league, let alone, EPL. Wrighty on the other hand, doesn't feature in the top 20 premier league players.
Henry was awesome, your entitled to your opinion but I think Henry was better.
Henry was phenomenal.
Few players come close to him in premier league history.
Wright was a hero of mine but not close to Henry.
Maybe it's just the younger fans who don't remember him?
He was/is an Arsenal legend, he still loves the club just as much and it's great to see an honest fan from another club acknowledge him.

To be honest it could only be younger fans who don't consider Henry on a level way above Wright (because they wouldn't have seen both week in week out).
It doesn't make Wright any less of a legend but the two just aren't in the same bracket.
