I'm sure it was against Hearts we tried Sinclair through the middle and he looked god awful

He can't play with his back to goal but Roberts is able to take the ball in better and turn away. I thought wee Forrest was outstanding as a right wing back today.

I give him a lot of stick but I thought he was excellent today.

Don't get me wrong, I think Roberts is streets ahead of Forrest but I thought Forrest was excellent for the whole game for a change. He actually demanded the ball that's my problem and always has been he flucking hides and doesn't demand it enough but he took it all over the pitch today and maybe not effective up too but I thought his passing (bar first 5 mins actually) was excellent.

in the modern game, very few top players go through their career as wingers. If you're a really good player like Roberts you're kinda wasted as a winger.

Look at Ronaldo and Messi...do all their best work through the middle. Ronaldo started off as an out and out winger.

I always fancied Robert through the middle...just behind moussa would be ideal. He can create absolute havoc in there as his two passes to Sinclair demonstrated today.

His awareness is probably his biggest attribute. Especially for his age, it's just a natural talent.
