Seemed silly to risk him for a game we wouldn't (on paper) need him for on Sat and have him play two games in 3 days after a hammy injury.

Wouldn't be worried by the absence of Valencia, Mkhi and Martial. They usually link up with the squad at the hotel as they live in the Lowry or near it.

I hope this is true!

Shaw injury in PSV game was the moment his Man Utd career went downhill.

Apparently Jose was won over by Shaw after Shaw barged into his office and emptied his secret stash of jumbo-sized Haribo sweets into the bin to prove his dedication.

Remember under LVG the whole time he was their it was all about getting fit and I wondered if LVG had really high standards or if Shaw wasn't upto scratch fitness wise and it seems the latter is the case.
