Reports tonight suggesting Mane is out for the season.
A nothing report in the telegraph that has nothing more concrete than conjecture? I'll wait until the scans come back I think.

---------
Brought to you from the rationale of whom said Can was out for the season... back on the pitch 5 mins later.
Woohoo Sturridge is back (again)
As soon as I saw the tackle in slow motion - no criticism of Leighton Baines - when Sadio's left knee to toe was stretched out in a straight line I said that that was the last time we'd see him this season and my very pessimistic view remains the same.
Great to see Daniel S back in the mix. No matter which way you look at it he's had a shocking season. Eight games to show whether he still has a future at LFC or not. I'd like see see Divock and Gruigic given a run on either the Bournemouth or Stoke games.

No one can say how long Mane is out for as his ankle is still swollen. Until the swelling goes down no doctor can evaluate the extent of the injury. Trust me I know I have glass ankles and have been to see some of the best specialists in the world and they all say the same.
reports saying it is the knee!
Be great if Studge could find a boit of form for the run in, I still want him to be a red next season and be the player we know he can be.
If we coudl get Studge fit we could go big on another wide forward who can play across the line, if not we need a number 9.

T Bone, Goofy is right. Each and every press report refers to the knee. There's no mention of his ankle.

Sturridge to come back and show his class and show that he still has it of which he will manufacture a sale and the end of the season to another top team somewhere in Europe.
Saying this - time to start thinking another username...hints?

Just saw that but the same applies. They can't scan when it's that swollen so no one can deter what it is yet. Unfortunately it's stayed swollen longer than usual and Juergen said it doesn't look good
