Silva's brilliant every week and as you say, gets little, to no protection from referees. How many times did Kante get him last night before he finally got a yellow card.

Pleasantly surprised by Delph.

Very good on the ball, but very rarely looked like hurting us as a whole lastnight imo. Best chances came from set pieces.

Silva did play the ball out of play a few times aswell.

How kompany stayed on the pitch lastnight was a miracle though. Consistent fouls, took out costa pretty bad, took out hazard on the edge of our box, and then that foul by the touchline. Very lucky boy.

Thought Sane and Aguero had the best chances but snatched at them.

I didn't think any player was close to a red last night. I find this clamour nowadays to get them awarded ridiculous.

havnt seen that tbh, was at the game so didn't see costa much at all the waste of space that he is atm.

best chance of the match was hazard skying over the bar, but never should have scored his first anyway...terrible keeping.

The rest of your team is so deep at times, he's very isolated for a lot of it. Your system is definitely designed to get the most out of Hazard (which Costa helps a lot with in terms of off the ball).

of what? the chance? edge of the box, on a hat trick, has to hit the target.

Or the goal? Straight at him despite a little nick, should have kept it out, or pushed the pen wide.

couldn't disagree more. Most games we have majority of possession and it breaks down time and time again, he always lingers offside so when we win the ball at the back he cant even challenge for it up top, so the ball just comes back.

Also disagree he helps hazard, if anything hazard frees up space for costa
