Vaughan is the same mold as McKenna, so players like that will always be needed, certainly at this level.

Quite different players though weren't they? Vaughan is a busy, playmaker who likes to run with ball. McKenna more of a holding mid who won possession and created from deep. I guess they do have some similarities thinking about it. Would probably play quite well together!

From 5th to 18th, wow, what a decision.

Blackburn know they have to beat us and city to have any chance now.

Next week is still a huge game. If we win it should make us more or less safe.

I remember McKenna being better defensively but Vaughan picking a better pass. Both pretty similar though.

But we really need Vaughan and Cohen replacement/cover, both important and influential, but we only really tick when both are fit which is such a rarity.

Absolutely! It's becoming more commonplace these days and even we've not been immune to it. Some owners need to actually use their brains instead of their bank vaults to make these decisions. A bit of patience and stability can work. Anyway, good for us. Let's compound them on Friday.
