What's your manager resting players for? To sit on couch watching European football midweek? Bizarre.

Take off Klavan and put a midfielder/forward in there

Anyone else have a bet on Walters to score?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep, Walters to score and Stoke to win. Seemed an easy winner to me.

It was key that we kept them out and scored first given our injuries.
Typically we didn't.
Not starting Sturridge is bizarre given the circumstances.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Every manager has those players they hate for no good reason. Fergie had Beckham and Stam, Rodgers had Agger, Klopp has Sturridge and Sakho.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sturridge can barely run anymore and Sakho was continuously late and missed training sessions before posting a 2am snapchat rant the day of a game but sure Klopp just hates them.

Wish I had the inside knowledge of players fitness levels 👍
I'm not claiming anything but I will make a wild stab in the dark about Sturridge and Firmino and suggest they're not fully fit.
Klopp for me was entirely responsible for us dropping 2 points against Bournemouth, and carries much of the blame for that 1st half.
Needs to wake up.
Woodburn has looked bright no?
Woodburn should've come on against Bournemouth
Good strength considering. Needs to get his head up and compose himself a bit though
People were calling this during the week on ja606 that we would lose and it would beca rancid performance .....

Klopp's biggest problem is his flexibility to make tactical changes during the game. He's stubborn
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Still has no plan B
------
I meant not being flexible to make changes in tactic and formation during the game when he sees his original plan not working.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Like a few days ago?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You mean when the original plan was working then he took off Coutinho which didn't work? That's the opposite of what you're claiming.
-------
Either way he's not improving it.
This is Sturridge kind of game. He needs to play.

He's shiite. One good game in three.
Did we have a shot on target that half?
Keep it tight till 75mins and within a goal. Then last 15mins throw everything at them and hope we get something from it.
Virtually identical to the Hull game really, pretty even with very few chances for either sides until just before half time we had the opposition a goal served up on a plate.
We aren't giving ourselves a chance in these close matches.
Klopps reasoning for not bringing Sturridge on against Bournemouth was 'the game was a little intense for him'.
As I recall, Bournemouth struggled to get out of their own half for nearly 20 minutes, which you would imagine might be the ideal time to bring Sturridge on, but then the change was made to bring Matip on for Coutnho, the team retreated as a unit, and we dropped 2 vital points.
Talks a lot of $h!t at times
