Many questions can be raised as to why a significant number of our players are willing to draw their contracts down to the wire.

Having said that, poor form comes and goes. There's no point trying to connect a player's dip in form, to his future plans.

Everyone seems to have forgotten about Sanchez's dry spell last season. He must have gone for more than 5 months without a goal.

Yes why not? Seeing as City aren't really very good themselves.

Flog off to the highest bidder and look to the future. Keeping a guy with a year on his contract who is simply waiting till he leaves on a free and stinking up the dressing room isn't worth it. If we get a rumoured 50m pounds for him, we've done okay and can look to rebuild.

I know he has done it in the past but I don't think wenger would sell to City if he is staying for two more seasons as manager

If he wanted city and nobody else for example he could say sell me to city or i go there for free next summer. Arsenal won't throw £40-45m away.

Wasn't it under Pep...Barca bought Eto for Ibra in his prime + 40 mil?? If Wenger would play hardball...we could potentially get a very good deal....

If wenger sold him to city or chelsea there would be uproar and im not sure he'd want to cause anymore trouble at arsenal even the WIB would turn on him.

Wenger may not want to sell him to a team in England. But the board im sure would be up for it. If an offer of 50m comes in for Sanchez from Chelsea or city I'm sure they'd accept that. They won't want him earning good money all season, just for him to leave on a free
