I'd rather Hazard was missing on Sunday than Kante though.
How Mane is not on that list just shows how utter bollox these things are. He has been far better than Lakaku and Sanchez.
Is it aged 23 and under for the young player award then?
Lukaku couldn't have done any more than he has, top scorer by 4 goals in the league, more assists than any other CF in the league too, and at a side not in the top 6.
Forget how young he is tbh.
Ali will win the YPOTY, and Kante vs Hazard for the main award.

Mane is a good shout, I think when players who have good seasons have little interruptions here and there (for him ACON and injury) then their chances of inclusion go down, stay less in the eye of people.
Kante and Alli to win it. Think Ibra is the one who shouldn't have been nominated tbh. Think people will say Alli but he was poor first half of the season.
And as usual silly that Lukaku/Kane nominated for YPOTY.
Lol how can anyone say Lukaku doesn't deserve to be there, on course for golden boot, most goals against top 6 this season compared to Kane, Costa etc.
An attacker with 18 goals and 10 assists doesn't deserve to be on there? Interesting theory from the Chelsea fan pretending to be a Rangers fan whose favourite player is an Arsenal player on loan to Stuttgart

Why does sanchez not deserve his place? guys scored 18 gaols and got 9 assists definitely needs to be in there.

Lukaku undeserved in my opinion. Yes he has scored goals but he goes missing in games and doesnt contribute in the same overall way that the likes of Kane and Sanchez do, even when they are not scoring.
Personally think Vertonghen should be on the list. Our defence has again been superb and Verts has not only put in almost flawless defensive displays but he is now an effective threat going forward, stepping in to the midfield, passing the ball beautifully, and making runs into the box. He's basically shown £50m Stones what being a ball playing defender is all about. IMO he is one of the key reasons why we have been much better this season vs deep sitting 11 men behind the ball. Aldi is widely considered to be the best CB in the league but Vertonghen has been stand out for me this season.
Given that the 5th best championship player won that one, anyone could win the PL one. Should be Hazard, Kante or Ibra. As Chelsea are top then perhaps one of there two. Alli easy winner for young player

Alli has been a bigger influence this season, and equal to Hazards influence at CFC. He should be on the main list too.
No way has alli been equal to hazards influence.
Alli has been great, but hazards influence is more than just goals and assists, he basically controls games and drives our attack forward. He is the difference in being title winners and not imo. Alli is yet to do that despite popping up with important goals.
I'd give it to Ibrahimovic. 35 yrs Old came and conquered. But a Chelsea player is going to win it, I'd say Kante is. Surprising Costa never made the list

Costas all round game has been poor this year, his goalscoring was great but now thats also poor.
my choice would be
POTY = Kante
YPOTY = Alli
It will likely be

35 years old, 28 goals (so far) and we could have as many as 14 more games left to play.
We as a team have been very average again but Zlatan has been amazing. Had he been playing in a stronger and more coherent Utd team he would be closer to 40 goals already now in all comps.
