Yeah, the effort is there just not the conviction. His stats are beginning to settle down to a one goal in four player. I'm not sure that's going to be enough to stay in Klopps plans.

I doubt it, his goal scoring record is poor, in 117 games for Lille & Liverpool he's scored 25 goals.

That's still going back in time isn't it.
Only pace merchants score loads early on, others generally peak around 25-28 (according to some Tompkins analysis of 100 strikers).
Look at Defoe, he's reinvented himself and is now banging them in again, after losing his yard of pace he dropped off now he's a real poacher and is thriving again despite advanced years.
Origi has made a couple of good crosses, that 1 in 4 has been mostly him playing wide, that's solid for a kid of his age!

The biggest difference between Origi and Sturridge and in fact all good strikers is that Sturridge and others make excellent run off the ball behind the defence to find spaces. Origi is useless with that. He goes into the players instead.

sht game but we have nullified w brom and their hoof ball so far, much better defending by us although chadli had that chance.
W brom have also expended a lot of energy, we should get more room and and exploit the space..did i mention i FKN HATE pullis teams, they offer fak all to football.

The biggest difference between Origi and Sturridge and in fact all good strikers is that Sturridge and others make excellent run off the ball behind the defence to find spaces. Origi is useless with that. He goes into the players instead.
