I know we wernt great but i was really disappointed in Huddersfield. They sat back and showed very little. We actually dominated the game. As i said not saying we were great but we deserved at least a draw.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wot Backo said.
My point following on from the above is that NO team in this division is that good - Brighton maybe?? - which makes it all the more galling that the most expensively assembled squad in the Championship has been so poor and disappointing.
We will rue this year bitterly.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Come on View. Chin Up! We can still remember the best years, and have known the less successful. This was a middling, confusing and frustrating season.
And we get to do it all over again......

Yes but I'm getting older and it's 10 years since we got promoted . My girls have gone from being little kids to going to University, reaching adulthood AND WE ARE STILL IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP
All the talk from some this week about getting rid of Hughes. A real diamond in a pile pebbles today.
One of them thinks Bryson is better than Hughes. He also thinks the moon is made of green cheese and can't wait for a slice of it.
What was Butterfield doing cupping his ears to the Derby fans before he did the same to the Huddesfield fans? I did find myself joining in with the Huddesfield fans singing what a waste of money. When was the last time he scored
'Why we couldn't get in to the play offs when rubbish like Huddersfield and Reading can is a mystery.'
I guess the answer is they've had one manager, who knew his best team, formation & tactics.
In short, stability.

You've probably answered your own question, Griff
How can he show disrespect to Derby fans when we've had to put up with his dire performances and 1 goal now all season
Perhaps he already knows that he's going to be replaced by a more physical, direct and energetic midfielder, next season

We don't need Sammon when we have Vydra's first touch to admire.

No thanks to Terry, I would rather have a young player on the way up, not a washed out has-been. If we need an old head Carrick is the man.
Is Carrick leaving Man U at the end of the season VC?
And, as a veil is drawn over the season - a late hint of northern lights, a brave DCCC declaration, and my hounds needing a pee..........To you all

Rather have Roberts than Terry. Seriously why would Terry come to Derby.
Same reason Mackay did? Who knows? More likely than Carrick coming to Derby
Vydra's effort is disappointing. He has some quality but he doesn't really make a nuisance of himself. He wanders around waiting for something to happen too much.
I thought Huddersfield were very ordinary indeed. Hughes was not at his best but second half especially he stood out. He was positive in his play which few others showed any signs of. We really need to try to move Butterfield on. I don't care if he cups his ear when he scores or not but he just pottered about the pitch as though it was a training session. Of the subs only Russell showed any energy.
When it did happen Vydra made a real pigs ear of a good chance.
Apparently not to the Derby fans Griff

Thing is Jorv...at 1st he was looking at Derby fans...he then turned and looked at Huddersfield fans. All they sang was "What a waste of money". It wasnt all sorts of things. Butterfield has not delivered. A deflected 1st goal of the season will not mask over his shortcomings. He would be one of the 1st out the door for me. Will we find a buyer who will pay his wages will be the stumbling block. Its ok for people to say get rid of certain players. But...1. There has to be a club interested. 2. Will they pay the fee Derby will ask. 3. Will they pay the wages the player is on at Derby. Getting all 3 will be a huge acheivement. It will not be easy moving players out of Derby trust me.
I think he slipped for that chance Spart. Pity because he showed a bit of alertness to make the run in the first place. He doesn't look as though he wants to bother with all of the chasing around business. That's fair enough if you are Lionel Messi but I don't think he is quite at that level.
Don't shoot the messenger Backo!
Ha!. I wasnt Jorv dont worry. Just giving what i saw cos it was right infront of me. He defo looked at Derby fans 1st.
If only someone had listened when I begged us to bin NLN and go get Hughton post-Toon
Lolz at Forest and Zola and Leeds.
Been home about, half an hour. Meh seems to be the only way to describe the performance, the atmosphere and the general feeling around the ground today. I'm actually looking forward to the season being over.
Udders will have to up their game because they will not win the play offs if they go looking to nick a 1-0 like today.
