I think it might get slightly close the gap that is...However, Chelsea will win it imo

They can only lose it and I feel like they are still in charge...So the answer is

Let them screw it up

I don't see it. They could potentially drop points at Everton but I'd expect us to drop points along the way too.

Our fixture list is much tougher. 4 away games and we are much worse away than we are at home. Lots of draws.

They have Everton awayand that's it...I can't see them dropping any more points...Unless they bottle it

They have a much easier run in. Hope you boys do it though.

Draw vs Southampton loss against Everton.

Unfortunately I can't see us winning all our remaining games .We are capable of it thou but its not likely.

its the premier league no such thing as an easy run in.

We could do some psychological damage if we beat them next week.

Both teams have got 2 or 3 games against teams who'll either be safe from relegation or already relegated. We'd have to win our next 3 games to have any chance.

if we can beat them next week at Wembley it could have a psychological affect on them

Next week could be like Arsenal vs United in 1999 all over again - both teams were vying for the league and da cup then too (although the Surrey mancs had the champs league as well).

For me we need to finish in the top 3. I can see ManU winning the Ropey league so finishing 4th is not an option. Many feel 2nd is a shoe-in but the pessimist Spurs supporter in me doesn't see it just like I called us finishing 3rd after the Chelsea draw last season. We have 4 tough London derbies coming up and we are a Dembele or Eriksen injury away from things possibly falling apart but Manu's win today at least keeps the end of season interesting! COYS!!

If we win europa league 4th spot does still get CL qualifier. Its just if Leicester City win the CL then it goes unless they changed the rule.

I've supported Spurs for over 35 years, and Chelsea are 99% certain to win the league.

I think if we win our last six games we will win the league. It's a tall order though.

I'm confused about all the various possibilities for CL qualification...

So if Leicester win CL....the top 4 still qualify right? (I'm sure this was changed after we missed out when Chelsea won CL?)
If Utd win EL....does that take away a CL spot from the top 4?

Also, what if Utd win EL AND finish in top 4.....? Would an extra spot go to 5th place? That can't be right can it?

I did try a bit of googling but evidently am not intelligent enough to find all the answers....

The only way 4th place wouldn't get CL is if Leicester win the CL and Utd win the Europa

If we continue to play as we are I am now very positive we will win the league and possibly the double as an extraordinary bonus. Four points is virtually nothing when you are chasing a side playing worse than you. Take things as they are now and it looks like Chelsea are bottling this.

But there are obviously two things to consider. Tottenham are currently as playing as well as at any time since the 1960s, such is their dominance in games. Maintaining that level will be very, very hard. Chelsea could raise their game and even if they don't there is no evidence this season they will collapse (by which i mean have another Palace style result). They have been consistent.

I do not think of it as 18pts to play for, I only see the immediate future.

They play Saints at home, who have no game next weekend, just three days after the semi. Which may well be physically gruelling.

We play Palace away, who also have no weekend game, but with an extra day off to rest.

On paper we have the harder game, but we are the team in form and have players fresh after lay offs.

Chelsea are on 2 defeats in 3 and have hammered their core 13 players.

The immediate fixtures after see Chelsea at Everton. 8 home wins on the bounce and flying. Chelsea on their 3rd game in a week with their core 13.

We have the Gooners, in disarray, at home.

If we can have it down to a point after those fixtures, anything can happen after.

I think we'd be safe in 2nd place with another 7 pts which is what I'm looking at currently.

Thanks, clears that one up for me!

Just looked at Chelsea's last 4 games, no way will we win the title:

Middlesbrough - If they're not down already they'll need to open the game up to try and stay up.

West Bore - Safe in mid-table with nothing to play for.

Watford - See West Bore. Will mentally be on their summer holidays.

Sunderland - Relegated.

They'd have to drop the 4 points in the next 2 games and we'd still need to win all 6 of ours. Would be the worst title collapse in history if they blew it with those games to finish with.

We have a better chance of winning the Funny Adams tin pot.
We'll get second in the EPL.
