Missing out Sanzhez actually doesn't bother me.
Plenty more fish in the sea that can/will make similar impact in the future at a fraction of the price and younger.

Trust the club to be sensible enough not to blow £50m + £300k wages for 29 year old in last year of contract.


Agree on goalscoring midfielder.
Nainggolan might be that player club try to sign again.
I want him and Tielemans at Chelsea, in the summer.

Tielemans looked poor against Man Utd the other night. We need a creative midfielder who can makes things happen Bernardo Silva would be the man to fill that role.

I am not sure about Nainggolan, I have seen him play for Roma and his national team couple of times, not been impressed. Though he'd be an upgrade on Matic that's for sure.

I know Titlemans is playing in a poorer team.but still you could tell if he has qualities or not. On the hand there is less risk involvibg Bernardo Silva signing albeit playing in a much more competitive league.

Tielemans definitely has qualities, one match doesn't change that.
Said on another thread hallmarks of Modric & Hazard.

Put him in the Monaco or Dortmund team and see the difference.

Not sure what games you've been watching but Nainggolan has been very impressive this season, best midfielder in Italy.

Tbf, I have only watched Tielemans couple of times, so maybe you paid more attention to him. Nainggolan is combative and physical but not creative enough. Playing him alongside Kante and we have zero creativity in midfield. Sure he'd be an upgrade to Matic, but he is not someone who inject creativity into our squad.

Nainggolan can pass fast and is quick with decision-making from midfield or in forward position.

Matic can't do either.

Agreed on Matic.

Don't you think we need someone who can play in pivot role , someone like Modric is for RM. If you think Titlemans is that man, then we probably need him more than we do Nainggolan.

I'll settle for both.

Nainggolan - £30m - £40m.

I'm hoping we don't next season!

Cesc will go this summer, not getting much game time this season. He is creative, but he is painfully slow, lacks mobility and defensively can be a liability as you know.

Will they let Titlemans for that kind of money ?

Nainggolan didn't want to come last year, he is settled in Seria A. What's changed this year ?

Belgium clubs sell cheap.

Roma not willing to give Nainggolan the salary he demands.

I know Nainggolan is a target. But I am not sure Titlemans is though.
