Are we voting for the best interests of our country or just the narrow interests of a few who con, sorry, manage to convince a majority of us that everything is fine?
Corbyn's useless. The so-called 'opposition' is useless.
The Lie-Dems fcked themselves by selling out last time around; they had the majority of votes of the student bloc, those idealistic, ignorant, naive whingers were finally persuaded to bother to vote in numbers and were sold out, causing them to lapse back into the election apathy that saw them just not bother at the Brexit poll but do nothing but whine about it since. Shut your faces, students; the grown-ups are talking.
Massive majority for May in June is the only outcome
I honestly feel for those who put in a shift and earn a crap wage.
I'm not sure that the Tories "don't have a clue how the other half lives", I think they have an idea, but don't give a feck.
We need a strong opposition. We don't have one. This is why she has favoured (clang to) reducing immigrants over access to EU market.
PROBLEM IS, SHE WILL NOT ACTUALLY REDUCE IMMIGRATION.
It goes before parliament and needs a two-third majority to be passed; given the parlous state of Labour at the moment, will their MP's vote in favour?

That was then and you sound like a Forest fan, talking about the past. Yes, it happened but like a rabid right winger, the continual, tired usage of pointed personal barbs instead of looking to the real issues. Hiding behind imaginary (to you) humorous utterings show a distinct failure to grasp and understand the REAL issues facing the vast majority of the electorate.
Try talking about those 👍
Given that the Baristas are to have their own exception (as apparently no British folk can take 38 minutes to produce over-priced coffee) will their be a derogation too for football players..?
Jonny Foreigner is coining it in, in the Premier League and our foreign-owned super-clubs are all about the Champions League... will we be allowed to continue in European competition? If not, I really, really, REALLy hope with every fibre of my being that Liverpool qualify for the Champions League in the year that it doesn't matter anymore.
What...? You think the student bloc are going to be any more engaged with the GE than they are any other election...? It's called for June, they'll have brolen up for the summer and won't have the peer pressure to go out and do something themselves to effect a change.
Watch the demographics when they're released; their turnout will be appalling yet they'll moan and protest in massive numbers about it later when someone else organises a march for them to go on, or via Twitter because it's easier.
View - Well said. We are on the verge of a catastrophe that will cause no end of misery to millions of Britons. Is doing already.
We are reduced to trusting Fox, Davis and Boris to negotiate a vastly complicated exit from the EU in which the default position is WTA trading. Ans Mrs May is shaping up to be just as damaging to British Industry and Banking as :-
1. Hitler, Goering and Luftwaffe
2. Margaret Thatcher

She's signed her own death warrant and that of the Union in Scotland this morning.
SNP will take the Tories remaining seats in Scotland to turn us fully SNP and give Sturgeon the mandate that May is claiming she doesn't have currently.
Great news, England can continue down the path of right leaning isolationism on it's own without dragging us with you.
I love your enthusiasm in taking digs at the student population who are actually becoming more and more politically engaged by the minute, but unfortunately are discouraged and patronised by plenty of old buggers who believe that the thoughts of young people are irrelevant.
You complain that we don't care about politics and that we don't take action, and then when we do, you are condescending towards us and write us off as silly little kids. Seems to me to reveal a fear of the influence that this younger generation could potentially have on national politics, and your only way of grasping onto the dominance of the older generation in politics (which is certainly working so far, kudos to you) is to create an air of superiority for yourself that completely dismisses the views of anyone under the age of 25.
Shut your faces grown-ups; the next generation of this country is talking.

Part of the reason for the poor student turn out is because of changes to the laws of vote registration. Most students and young people change their address frequently, so they find themselves unable to vote.
Are we really doing fine? Who is 'we' in your world 666?
Is it students who end up with £40,000 of debt just to get a decent education?
Is it young people who work hard but can't afford to buy a house or pay a huge rent and when they can they are paying half their salary for a home?
Is it old people who have inadequate healthcare in their dying years?
I could go on and on and on but can't be bothered.
I'll be voting Corbyn but not expecting a win. This election will be a disaster for the majority of our population.
May will definitely win. Even though her policies are awful, and she lacks a certain charisma, but she is backed by the mainstream establishment.
Also the opposition is a mess, their policies are actually good, but they are to busy with infighting and there is a total lack of leadership.
To be honest you have either got to be a very ideological right-winger, or very naive to vote conservative. Their policies are just as extreme as some of the more scaliest policies Corbyn proposes .

This is a democracy; your chance to effect change comes about at the polling booth, not on marches with placards and banners and hashtags. The younger generation now has social media to cajole and communicate, to urge and implore, and to engage with the environment in which they live, yet still your demographic has a significantly lower turnout at the polls than any other.
2015 GE: 43% turnout.
2010 GE: 44% turnout.
2005 GE: 37% turnout.
It's called 'apathy'. For a generation who claim to be being screwed over by those who went before you seem to be doing precious little about remedying that situation despite being afforded the opportunity, repeatedly, to do something about it. Women of that demographic are voting more; from 35% in 2005, 39% in 2010, to 44% in 2015 but it's still significantly only moving from a third toward a half.
One of the problems is the perception that the majority are unhappy with the way things are; how can that be if they choose to carry on regardless? This is the real world, and it's competitive; people will take for themselves unless you're prepared to stand up for yourself and make a difference. 76% of over 45's votd in 2015; of course politicians are going to pander to the voters, that's the nature of the beast, and the voters aren't students. 73% of the voters are either home-owners or mortgaged, whereas renters were down at 53%... if you decide not to bother voting, you can't complain about the outcome with any level of credibility.
Fascism has won in the US, the Czar is in power in Russia, The Sultan has been restored in Turkey, Fascism may win in France so May wants to join the party to have a government not dissimilar to the one my father went to fight in the 1940s. The epidemic of stupidity goes on. No doubt idiots in their thousands will vote to be worse off on the grounds that they are striking against the politcal elites as per the billionaire media owners' instructions.
Be interesting to see the GE result if there was almost a 100% turnout?
