But each of those guys were voted in in the first place, because folk felt they had no alternative.
If you want to be a sheep, be a sheep. It is also within someone's right to choose not to vote.
Why vote for someone who does not represent your views?

Surely this is the ideal opportunity for all Tory haters, of which there seems to be many to vote a Labour Government in? 50 odd seats in Scotland should do the trick?

They absolutely did say it was once in a generation. It was a clear attempt to ramp up the yes vote.
I always assumed it was a load of pash.
I think Sturgeon herself maybe said it but might be wrong.
