Effort was fantastic but once again I felt that Drinkwater choked and disappeared, so much so that Benny lost his patience and came too far out a couple of times almost as if to show Drinkwater which way we were kicking.
I'm afraid I'm coming to the conclusion that Danny ( Mahrez is obvious ) is a fair weather player, looks fantastic when we are doing ok but totally disappears when we struggle.
If we were going to win and go through we needed a massive amount of luck and EVERY player to be 100% on form, I don't think that can be said for either Danny or Mahrez, even taking into account the opposition.
I loved that film before kick off with the fox in the stadium. The only disappointing thing was that it didn't lift the CL trophy up with its paws.

Oh look, here's Mr Obssessed. Again.
Hanging around a successful PL team like the weedy boy at school standing near the cool kids in the playground.
How's Leeds today Mike? Anything exciting happening there? Anyone's Whippet run away or flat cap been blown off by a slight breeze?

I've been to Leeds. Twice. That was when you were in the Prem so it was a very long time ago. Do you have electricity and running water in Leeds now?
To be honest, the only thing I remember was a big roundabout with Welcome to Leeds spelled out in flowers on it, and my mate said 'Yes, you are welcome to the dump...'

Youre mate was correct it was a dump. Now its great and quite possibly to trendy for your kind. Lets be honest here.
If you think walking around eating black pudding on a stick with a racing pigeon on each shoulder and drinking Tetley's ale out of plastic cups is trendy, then you're in for a shock when you do start visiting big cities again - presuming you do ever get back into the Premier League. Which you won't.
What Simeone is like away from the heat of the battle, I couldn't say - although I think there is an image of him consoling Vardy after the match so fair play for that.
However, in the heat of the battle his actions are... let's say a little less friendly. Whether you think this matter is, I guess, up to you.
Certainly our players fought his team with everything they had though. And I don't imagine for a moment it was entirely comfortable viewing. Although the further it got into the last ten minutes, the more he would have felt secure by the goal cushion.

Leeds has always had a good club seen and great Italian restaurants and some of the most loyal fans in the country don't spoil it for me Mike.

Someone had to have it after Jimmy Saville died.
