Mansfield have a good amount of pacey players

Got Shola Ameobi too, the pace of those two combined will scare any defence.

You have fecking Alan Smith too, what a man

Haha, remember when he played for Doncaster.

League 2 is just a retirement home for old EPL or Championship rejects.

Kevin Nolan is the manager, should've been capped more for England

Nolan was a great leader for Bolton, not sure if he was ever good enough for England. Same as Kevin Davies, worked well in a system, but not that top level.

League 2 looks fun

True, plus back then England had a class midfield.

If only Scholes wasn't overlooked

Those were the golden days of PL football, for me anyway. The childhood memories of watching the PL highlights show on ITV and listening to the opening credits of 'Beautiful day' by U2

Arsenal blowing that 8 point lead in 2003, beautiful.

Henry was on fire that season as well.

All them draws near the end of the season cost them. Then the defeat to Leeds. Viduka masterclass

Still think Utd would've won it year after if it wasn't for the Ferdinand ordeal.

8 months for missing a drugs test, then providing a sample the next day. Despicable.

Mutu-Cocaine gate was funny too

The Leeds team used to be good

Paul Robinson (before his chit time with England)
Harry Kewell
Mark Viduka
Nick Barmby
Ian Harte
David Batty
Dominic Matteo
Aaron Lennon
James Milner
Alan Smith

Some decent players there

Deffo, but it is what they were paying them with which caused their downfall.

Money they just didn't have.
