The FA are complete jokers. What is the point in having it at wembley when the fans can't experience it and many corporate whores don't show or sit in the hospitality suits way after the game has kicked off leaving the stadium looking half full.

Gone up. Was 25k

It's the club Wembley section which is the middle tier makes up the difference. Anyone can buy a ST in the club Wembley section for £1,500 , but you're only allowed to watch England national team, league cup final, fa cup semifinal and final and play offs.

28k too many each.

Football, especially the FA cup final, is for the fans, not just the fans of two teams. Should be an open sale to anyone interested.

I wish they would at least have the TV cameras facing the other way, looks terrible for the first 15 minutes of each half when there is nobody in the stand directly on view.

Pretty sure Coventry got well over 30k for the checkatrade trophy final. Makes no sense.

posted on 26/4/17

Because hardly any corporate bigwigs want to go and watch Coventry.

About 15,000 are Club Wembley, so that means around 19,00 are for sponsors etc.

So you go to every cup game in the season but can't get a ticket for the final as Joe Bloggs from Tokyo wants to experience a match yet doesn't know any players, spends half the game eating prawn sandwiches in the exec suite then the rest of the game looking at his phone.

Rubbish. The game is for the fans that support the club. This is not America

Club fans get to go see their team every week.

The FA Cup final is for the nation and therefore should be available for all to attend. Hoarding tickets between two clubs is against the ethos of what the FA cup stands for.

Football should be for the fans.

if you're in the upper tier you might as well be in space....same view.

better off going down the pub

as a poster has said already bo!!ox, that's what England games are for, idiotic to suggest the two teams who are actually playing don't get most of the tickets

That is also why it is on national TV.

Why should loyal fans miss out on the big day for some random who is not really interested in football.

Have you ever seent he corporate section at football matches. Full of people who have not got a clue or much interest about football but they go because it is a day out with free food.

only once in my life have i sat in a box and it was horrible, because it was a new experience and they bring you food and drink you almost lose focus in the match and by game end your thinking what the hell happened

I was the assistant catering director at Old trafford & the Etihad on match days a few years back and I was amazed at the people. So many would ask if they could just stay in the suites drinking and eating rather than go out into the stands to watch the game.

I used to get really angry and demanded they leave the suites to watch the games. It made me sick. All clubs have it now and Liverpool have just opened all their new suites and the same is happening their according to my mate who works there.

Wembley isn't even a great stadium tbh. It's nice and all, but when in there you feel somewhat detached from the game and atmosphere.

I've been in a box at the Emirates a couple of times from my old work. They pump out white noise so you cant hear the fans.Quite nice to be able to stroll in with no queuing and have beer delivered for and a pint waiting for you at half time though.

I am expecting to get a ticket through one of the tickets not allocated to clubs for the final. I have done a couple of times before as well and I can assure you, most fans in that section were at least as passionate as other areas of the ground. Against Hull I thought a bloke in front of me was going to start a fight after Hull scored because the disabled section behind us asked for people to sit down as they couldnt see.

The fact cup is for the fa family, not saying allocation is fair but it is supposed to reward all involved in football, right down to Sunday league teams and refs. There are allocations for those too. My old club chairman used to apply every year for a pair and often got them. My mates dad got one for him through the refs allocation for the 94 final.

It's been that way forever, can't see why this comes up every year, nothing has changed so it shouldn't be a surprise.

Any news on the selling arrangements would be nice though

The remaining FA cup tickets are a nice little earner for some of the officials at lower league clubs.

Not that I'm suggesting they might find their way into the hands of the touts or anything
