Maureen is moaning about everything as usual. In years gone by when Fergie was chasing the double and the treble he rarely if ever whined about lots of games and tiredness.
This is all about deflecting the blame.
If we do make top 4 we should be applauded all the more for making it by not cheating like the Manchester clubs. Both dives by Rashford and Sane were disgusting.
Now kanes diving too. Bloody foreigners
The game's being ruined these days with any type of contact without getting the ball in the box being given as a penalty. It encourages the divers, from all teams, to dangle out their legs and begin dives even before contact. This is not football but cheating and the refs should stop it. Unfortunately I don't think the refs have a clue about football and the head ref is misinterpreting the laws. Every ref should have the option to say no to any attempts to "look" for a penalty in the way I described.
We may well be getting giddy because if we do get top 4, it should mean a big pay day in the Champs League and the ability to attract the better players we need to progress to winning the title.
I love how rival fans are saying even if we get champions league(they were saying we'd be lucky to get top 6 before the season started, funny that) we won't be able to attract the better players cause we didn't when we last qualified 3 years ago.
The difference is this time we have a world class manager who has been around the block and actually to a champions league final in recent years. There isn't one player he has signed so far that has been poor imo, and I trust him to one get the quality of player and also enough strength in depth for us to have a good season next year.
It's all done to the players now to finish the job and season in style and also for FSG to supply Klopp with the dough.
Yes Millsie!
If we can add three like Matip, Wij and Mane we'll be all good

I do think it's hard for the refs though.
If you look at the United one yesterday, he actually had two Swansea players blocking his view of the incident. He shouldn't have given it, obviously, but I think he might have asked one of his assistants (who can't have had a great view anyway, given how far away they were - in fact I think the one in that half was on the other side of the pitch, and couldn't possibly have seen through Fabianski's body).
Even without video referees I think there are steps that the Premier League/FA could take to sort this mess out. All it needs is a panel to look at the incidents after the game and then hand out fines and three-match bans to players found guilty of cheating. Yes, it wouldn't have helped Swansea or Boro yesterday, but once managers start losing players for a few games they'll surely be more proactive in helping to eradicate it from the game.
