We really don't want this to rumble on all summer. If he is to go get it done early or not at all.

I don't want him to go but if he wants to then I won't begrudge him.

What I'd do is make it publicly known we'll sell him for an insane amount (say £90m). We'll then see how much they want him.

Real are mad, but they are not daft enough to go balls out for a keeper. They already showed they weren't silly with pogba, they won't do it with ddg. I doubt even they are daft enough to spend more than 40m on him.

We have absolutely no need to sell Dave considering he's still well within his contract. If Real want him then we make it clear they have to pay a ridiculous amount for him. They've already messed up in the deal once before and in a now weaker position should realise they have to pay big if they really want him.

I hope DDG stays, but can understand why he would want to leave. It's just going to be so difficult to replace like for like.

I don't think DDG has been that necessary this season.

I've always said a 9 out of 10 keeper with a 7/10 defence isn't as good as an 8/10 keeper with an 8/10 defence

Bit like when Ronaldo left. Whoever we get is going to feel like a huge step backwards.

Liverpool had it with Suarez recently too. Some players you just can't get a replacement as good.

Schmeichel is a great keeper. He was Leicester's best player this season during the tough times and is a shoe in for their POTY awards.

Having to readjust with a new keeper with the defence to be in cohesion could be another big task for Mourinho next season.

All this talk of Oblak, would Atletico be willing to sell to us if we are trying to get Griezmann in aswell? Doubt they'd want to lose two key players in one window. And what of the AC keeper, any more news on this?

As good as Kasper has been for Leicester, i'd prefer to get as close in quality to DDG as possible, and Kasper doesn't come close sadly.

I don't think the defence has really suffered when Romero has played this season so don't think our defence will feel a huge loss that our defence did when Schmeichel left
