I'm always sceptical on buying a youngster too quickly.
While he looks amazing now he wouldn't be the first youngster to burst onto the scene and then fizzle out a little.
He'd have to do it for another season before I'd pay a fortune for him. Unfortunately by then it could be too late.

I can see why we offer so much.
Inflates the market and blows pretty much everyone else out of the running.
It's a decent tactic, especially if we have the money. If we say back and let him go to Real I'm sure people would moan we never went for him.

How much more money do Utd want to spend in their pursuit of reclaiming the glory. Madness.

Just what we've earnt.
Of course Robb would be in favour of something like this.
He's the second coming of Ronaldo.

Why do Liverpool fans keep using this silly argument?
We proved last summer and the summer of 2014 we can sign massive names regardless of CL football.
Anyway we still have every chance of CL football
The little I've seen of him he looks special but it's crazy money for a kid who is playing his first full season. Surely all clubs would have been fully aware of him before this season. I get that this season he is actually proving his worth against real quality but still, it's only 1 season.

Why not? The guy looks incredible. If we have the money I'd rather we spent it on players like this than have it sit in the glazers bank vault waiting for some ginger grandson to go swimming in it alá Scrooge mcduck

Sources close to Monaco have told us tonight the club has received no offer for Kylian Mbappe and he is not for sale. #SSNHQ
ooh, Sky Sports are fighting back with a right hook. Who to believe..

Probably no offer has been made. But even if there has, Monaco have to come out and deny it just before the biggest match in years for them
I think it's agent speculation trying to unsettle the kid 24 hours before a massive game.

Does Di Marzio happen to support Juve?
Don't think he supports anyone, he lives in Milan. He's still a great source though.
Liverpool fans seem to think their struggles in signing top players (even when they've been in the CL) applies to us, despite ample evidence to the contrary.

What's the deal with Monaco financially these days? Are they still owned by a billionaire?
They're a strange club, even though they will win the league this season and could reach (or even win) the CL final, they'll never really be a big club IMO. Their location hinders their ability to grow but then I guess it is also an attraction to some players. In my head most their best players will leave soon enough, or am I underestimating their popularity and power?

Even the one time they actually made the CL in recent years they were forced to sell their best player and could only buy mainly dross that no other big clubs wanted.
