I have a feeling Clough could be the super sub for the Reds and will hit/set up the winner in a 2-1 win to save us from the drop. Bring him on after 60 mins to run at them and hopefully create something.
Would be awful if you won with a last minute goal, leading to a hysterical pitch invasion on the final whistle to celebrate, Fawaz carried shoulder-high around the pitch by his adoring fans, cries of "for he's a jolly good fellow" etc, then two late goals for Blackburn send you down. I really hope that doesn't happen.
Ladbrokes have Forest to win 2-1 at 7/1. Them's pretty short odds. Just saying but the bookies rarely lose.
I think the potential double-whammy for Forest and Blackburn is the furore regarding the Huddersfield performance essentially galvanising your respective opponents into giving you a 'fair game' when neither is under any pressure or has anything to play for.. the result that put you in this mess (or at least, the latest one that did!) could also ensure you get a tougher ride than you might have previously...
Blackburn and Birmingham will each be away from home in 'party' atmospheres, whereas you'll be in a cauldron of nervous energy. et an early goal and the belief flowing and it's to your advantage; struggle early and it'll be quite the opposite.
It's going to be interesting viewing!!
I, as a Derby fan, am sure Forest will win and be safe. I hope so anyway. They have too much talent, too much at stake and a full house of Forest fans all trying to suck the ball into the net. So, go on. Enjoy the relief of a 3 goal lead with a few minutes to go. Best wishes Forest.
P.S. I am joking of course.
We will be fine. I just can't see us getting relegated.

Brentford and Ipswich will want to go out on a high. I don't really think they'll be that bothered about what anyone else says.
I assume that the home fans will create those party atmospheres. Surely the Blackburn and Brum fans are as nervous as us, aren't they?

I really hope BIrmingham get what they deserve..
They're all in awe of Redknapp!
He's like Bricktop in Layer Cake "You'll play your kids, awight?...."
Brum still have to get a result, though. Brizzle, like Forest, have been decent enough at home.

It's a game of chance, though, Buster. Doesn't always work out the way you think it should.
McCarthy has been talking about turning Forest down that time...

Has some good battles with Sheff U over the years. That play off defeat was very hard to take! Been a while since both have been in the same league. Three years in League One were helping for Forest, think the Blades have double that down there? is Billy Sharp still good enough to play and score innhe Championship?

Sounds like an attack of personal inadequacy...you know, when you decide not to put yourself forward for that top job through fear of rejection...
When I think about it, I guess it's not surprising considering the story of Forest's season but I still can't believe they've allowed it to go to a final day showdown, ridiculous. But hey, better than a mundane season of mediocrity and a mid-table finish, right???
League One is just unthinkable. It was dreadful 10 years ago and unlike then, I think we would really struggle to come back up. This club has its problems with its owner but I would like to see Birmingham drop due to their brainless managerial decisions this season.

Same here-get rid of Brum
Looked at my last posts from 2013- I was talking about play off possibilities!!! How wrong can one be.
All the best after Sunday.
This game being on a Sunday is killing me. Feel like we've waited decades so far and I don't think I've ever been this nervous about a match.
This is probably the only game in recent memory I've felt like a big crowd will make it harder for the team. A lot more pressure and probably a fair few muppets that will boo everything and anything negative. Im probably wrong but hey.
To think if we still had Burke, we'd be comfortabley mid-table and we're only just out of the drop zone right now because of the 11 points we got while he was here.

It wasn't just the sale of Burke, it was the horrendous raft of poor signings made to try and paper over the cracks that have got Forest here. At every junction, the club have taken a wrong turn. Al Hasawi is conspicuous by his absence but will no doubt be tweeting should Forest survive.
