After today's loss it won't be a jaded side.
We can rest players for the last 3 games knowing top 4 is gone
another bruising defeat at Spurs next weekend and confidence plus injuries could ruin your season. In my opinion Zlatans injury has ruined your season
A lot of ifs and buts there 😂

How would losing to Spurs next season ruin confidence?
We'll go with an even weaker side

His unkle Rolf will fit right in to the House of Lords....
You need confidence, continuity and rhythm to play well in football matches. You cant win football games by relying on your match winners all the time.
If Ajax have the kind of start that they had against Lyon it wont matter how big your favourites tag is. At the moment your match winners are Rashford and Pogba.
Every other player putting on a united shirt look short of confidence and ability.
I mean Mikhitariyan was embarassing today. Was disappointed when Jose subbed him

Difference is, we can defend. Lyon were absolutely shocking. Like, next level awful
I think Man Utd have a lot of potential to improve. They have money, a top manager and a lot of good young players. I feel those laughing at them won't be laughing for long as I don't think things will go the way they expect them to.

Or we don't win the Europa and not in the CL
We can't attract the top players so we end up spending a fortune on 2nd rate players
City and Guardiola finally click
Liveprool and Tottenham actually spend some money of quality players

We may not have the strongest teams in Europe, but we have the strongest second tier after the elite. An English side should always win the Ropey Cup if they take it seriously.
Good Cup to win, but not really an achievement for the top 6.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The gap between us and the other teams in it as far as financing is staggering, so yes it's not a great achievement, as we should be overwhelming favourites.

That's why I said this scenario 'could' happen.
Never hurts to be positive
Tottenham have a quality team already.
They need better squad options.
Liverpool won't be signing anyone that overly worries me tbh.
Who are you signing when your keeper goes home?

Yeah we will need to spend big.
I do agree we need more players coming in but another sticking problem is the way we play. The academy lads today are more adventurous than are seasoned veterans. Get it back down to the basics and go from there. By that, I mean we need to pound the "when you get the ball, pass backwards immediately and let the opposition set up again" mantra. Or philosophy if you feel like blaming someone for this style.

One of the smartest posts I've seen on here. Even without the young players and Jose, a club with our revenue in today's game will inevitably come good.
The other bits just help speed that up and make it mor me sustainable.
Agree with Robb with Romero. However we will need 2 keepers.
Schmichael and Romero?
