How's it gone under the radar? There's been lots of comments saying how well he did.
Sanchez didn't get much change out of him, which is great. I did notice some positional issues, dodgy clearances and he didn't look great going forward.
I understand he isn't a natural right back though?
id rather see him and TFM than Smalling Jones
once again only robb noticed
He did alright
Expect to see him in a few more PL games now til the end of the season.
He was better first half, looked a bit flustered at the beginning of 2nd half but composed himself and all in all had a decent game
the one thing i was so impressed with him was his composer to pass and not kick up field

Smalling and Jones could learn from that.
I think he looked better off the ball than on it which may not be a bad thing but he didn't offer much once on the ball. He mainly looked to offload it to Carrick or back to De Gea as soon as he got it. I understand he was out of position and this was his first PL start but I'd expect more if he was playing RB. then again, it was probably Jose's instructions considering our left and right attackers barely got out of their own halves.

This was my reading of it too. He cope well one on one with Sanchez. But the stuff you kind of expect a young lad to develop over a few years he wasn't great. Solid debut at a difficult place though.
He looked quick, strong, calm and quite composed if unspectacular on the ball.
Obviously not a RB offered little going forward but he wanted to pass the ball rather than hoof so that's a good sign.
Would be great if we could be TFM, Axel & CBJ into the fold more next season.
I thought McTominay looked lively too. Never heard of the lad before his appearances on the bench. What do we know about him?
CBJ hasn't seen much game time since Lambert took over Wolves.

Correct. I don't recall ever seeing him at right back; he's usually at CB and martialling the defence.

He's a Lancastrian lad and has just turned 20 I think.
Tall, strong, athletic without being quick, tough in the tackle and good in the air. He's played a full campaign for the Reserves this season, being used in various midfield roles (primarily as a defensive midfielder) and as an auxiliary centreforward/target man (as there hasn't been a single striker in the U23 squad all season - a massive blunder on the part of the club).
If he was to be compared to any current senior squad member, it'd be Fellaini

Horrible thing to say about a young lad starting his career.... thought better of you Rosso.... it's worse than being called dross by stretty

Yeah Gibbs had some joy, Axel didn't know whether to come inside a lot of the time which you could see.
Doesn't help when Mata is on the wing though.
Did anyone notice anything good that Alexis did yesterday? Nope and that was because Tuanzebe came in and bossed it.
--------------------------------------
Played a beautiful throw ball into ozil, that he should have got on the end of and scored with.
But bar that he nullified him pretty well
and I don't think I've ever seen Gibbs get so much joy in one game
-
That's down to the immobility of Mata, more than it was Tuanzebe.
