Looks like the record player is broke again! This can all be summarised as:
1. Mick did a great job getting us to the Prem
2. The club didn't invest enough to keep us there (permanently)
3. Mick did not always invest wisely (although a lot of us, me included, felt Johnson would be a massive signing for us).
4. The club went into a tailspin after Mick was sacked. I suspect these events were related.
5. Dave Edwards - worked hard for the team and club, was a solid enough performer in several roles and gained international recognition. He was no Messi, but never claimed to be. I suspect we'll miss him on occasion (he scored a decent number of goals afterall), but not hugely based on what Nuno looks to be building.
6. The club is moving on, perhaps we should as well?
Now, whicham I? (Grumpy git today)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sound assessment.
Dont forget the club imploded after the Johnson signing.....mccarthy made him captain which split the dressing room and he failed to sort it. Who knows if he had we still might be there and he still might be manager.
So glad he didn't.

So you're glad we spent the last 5 years outside the top flight, just so you could get rid of Mick. Thought you were a fan?
Personally I would rather we were still up there, regardless of who was manager. I guess I support the club rather than an agenda though.
So why didnt he sort the johnson issue? There wouldnt have been a problem if he had sorted it. He might even be our manager now and we wouldnt have had the humiliation that we have been through since then.
No agenda here.
This site is ridiculous when someone doesnt have a view that corresponds with certain people's views
Hush perton, we have to pretend Mick had no part in our demise and three wins in six months was acceptable.
Joao Palhinha could be on his way.

Oh right.... sorry cinci and thanks for warning me.
And the fact that we lost 1-5 at home to the sh@t should be enough to get any wolves manager sacked.

That's not what you said though is it.
You said if he sorted it, he might still be here; but you're glad he didn't. The 'glad he didn't' is the key bit here. You are glad he and ultimately Wolves failed, so Mick left.
I'm not debating that he made mistakes.

Absolute bollox, this is the problem on here, the 'anti' Mick's have no problem recognizing the great job he did to start with but the 'pro' Mick's cannot accept he had a shocker the last year of his reign.
