not linked. But, which is the greater crime? Because as the dad of a daughter i'd hate what Adam Johnson did and i'd want his nuts on a plate.

But if one of my kids was the cyclist, i'd want the driver to get more than 3.5 years (probably out in 18 months)

why are people saying their not linked? its obvious their not, the question put is the sentence for each crime

tbh with johnson's crime(child abuse/explotation) I wouldn't mind if he got a longer sentence

I think because a child was involved the sentence reflects that because if the women driving had knocked over a kid she would have gt much more of a sentence

The cyclist can't just expect to smash her wing mirror and ride off into the sunset ffs, so what if she was on her phone, u cant vandalise people's property for that

I was driving behind a cyclist for ages on a winding road with nowhere to pass, then on the only straight section he started fking about with whatever bike version of a fitness or sat nav thing is on the handlebars and swerving out into the road

Surely that's the same as a driver being on their phone!
