I'm worried.
I facking hate new Wembley too. It's a sh|t to get to. A soulless bowl. You get a facking escalator Feels like you're going to the Odeon on an industrial estate.

yep Wembley is an absolute f**8 mission aint it. I thought driving to WHL was bad but driving to Wembley on match day is ridiculous.
Maybe Poch would change the way you play slightly to suit the bigger pitch??. If I were spurs I would do quick pre-season tour of asia or America then play the rest of your friendlies at Wembley to get use to it.
Out of curiosity will the pitch at your new ground be the same size as the one at white hart lane now or be bigger?
Agreed that it's just something to be endured. Exactly how I feel.
That's my other worry though. If there are cheap tickets available like during the Europa games, we'll get all the night-out nonces who go just to see a game of football. They offer nothing to the support, in fact, take away from it cos you have these rows of silence sapping away any kind of atmosphere.
Not saying that's you Dub

get the facking train
"believe the new stadium is going to be pretty similar pitch size to WHL"
It's nearly exactly the size of Wembley pitch
*New Stadium pitch 105x68m
*WHL 100x67m,smallest in PL
*Wembley 105x69m
PL rules will only allow us to reduce the Wembley pitch to 105x68m

Nah f*** that mate. Getting a train after the game with 80,000 people all catching the same station? No chance mate. Driving is a nightmare but i would rather spend that nightmare in the comfort of my own space. Wembley is still a s** to get to either way.
Henge, i didn't know that, Great you have really cheered me up now. Probably do a westham now and spend a whole 2 seasons struggling at both Wembley and the new Lane
Ain't boring mate when you have good company in the car.

It might have an effect on our league form but I think we should go all out for the cups next season. If we go far then it might then become an advantage.

We were by far the better team vs Chelsea, dominating the ball, pressing them very effectively and were beaten by 2 moments of brilliance by Hazard & Matic.
That performance should give us confidence that we can play our way on that pitch (Although not with Son at LWB) .
We have also put in good performaces at Emriates and other large pitches so i do think this whole big pitch thing is a bit of a red herring.
Is more the atmosphere that makes it seem like an away game, and the away fans will love it and make a massive din....I saw us play gent there and their fans were amazing, it was a massive party day out for them which is how it will be for many visiting fans next season....suddenly at team like Palace at home is their cup final and the players and fans will all be up for it.
So your laying at home on Chelseas second home pitch ....good luck with that
